How to unlock the Happy Holidays achievement in Dead by Daylight - Definitive Guide

So looking through the comments and looking in game behaviour interactive have infact removed mystery boxes from the game.
The only thing i can suggest is any character you do not main either killer/survivor is to progress through the bloodweb but not going to the next level until the next events are available like lunar/halloween/christmas events are available also keep a eye out for random events throughout the year to.

What ever you do do not leave the bloodweb instead dashboard the game by pressing guide button highlight dbd start and quit when you load back up those boxes you just picked up are now ready for you to collect again so now repeat the process and you should have this in no time but remember when redeeming the boxes do not back out of the bloodweb becouse the game will recognize that you have already collected the boxes happy farming guys.

Ooh, interesting! I'll have to try this later.

Couldn't you technically - of course being longer - do this with just one lootbox? I'll probably try with two anyway, just need some bp to get to lv 30.

Yes you could do it with just one but will take longer to do it but if you wanted you could do it depends what you prefer really

Worked like a charm! Much quicker - though boring - than getting enough bp to keep going up in levels for a loot box.

Takes about 40 secs of so to load up the game to do the bloodweb and quit back out. Though really this only beneficial for people like myself who's completed the rest of the achievements and are burnt out with playing the game. +1

You can back out of the bloodweb, it only ever saves when you finish a match. I just loaded up every survivor to be one away from a box, go in and get them all then dashbaord and repeat.

What's the point of This? You can get this over time easily while going for the rest of the achievements for the game. I'm already half way done without doing this. -1

Lol so annoying when people downvote a solution because they dont get it. He literally said that the first option is to play normally.

Just a heads up, mystery boxes have been removed from the game (although might reappear for events). The devs entirely forgot about this achievement, so it might get changed.

You now have to wait until halloween rolls around to get this achievement. Winter holiday presents have been replaced with "winter party starters" which are basically firecrackers/flashbangs but only a one time use. Unfortunate.

What makes you think this achievement will be obtainable next Halloween? Do they always include mystery boxes during that time?

Mystery boxes are all year round so it is easily obtainable at the time of me writing this guide this was a quick method of getting the achievement quickly

I’m not sure what time line WeighingBrute is referring to but their is absolutely no chance of any mystery boxes appearing in any blood webs at this time.

I also started in October 2022. There were mystery boxes of a sort during the Halloween event. I got up to 70% progress during that. Since that ended, no new mystery boxes have been added. Unless you were already close to unlock this achievement and had characters with incomplete bloodwebs, you can’t unlock this currently, afaik.

The bloodweb is filled with Mystery Boxes (or Winter Gifts, a special variant for this update), which look like presents and give you a single random item or offering. You need to open a minimum of 100 of these to unlock the trophy.

There are typically 1 or 2 Mystery Boxes per bloodweb level. Getting this trophy may take you around 60 - 70 levels and can be obtained with either a killer, survivor or a mixture of both. The boxes range from 1,500 to 2,500 bloodpoints. With some math, the minimum amount of bloodpoints you could possibly spend opening 100 boxes is 150,000 and the maximum would be 250,000.

If you wanted, you could wait until the next double bloodpoint event in the future to accumulate more to spend.

You could purchase Mystery Boxes from the early levels of both your survivors and killers to reduce the number of bloodpoints needed ever so slightly (early bloodwebs costing less to complete).
