Map is now back in rotation and can be played again. The offering(RPD badge) are now active; July 27 with mid-chapter update. Still seems like people are having issues with this one. Currently buggy despite meeting basic requirements of the achievement.
Like all other map related achievements in the game you have to be repairing the generator when it finishes/gets to 100%. Even if you get the last 2 seconds that will count. Then you have to escape the trial. You can escape through the exit gates or hatch. However, at this time it appears that hatch escape may or may not void the achievement. This has happened in the past with similar map achievements. If you have a choice, go for the exit gate instead.
The generator that needs to be repaired is in the main hall. The main hall is the biggest room in the map and in the center. There will be large statue in the room and you can look up about 3 stories. There will be two tall sets of stairs that go up on both sides. Like the achievement says, it will be on the lowest level; first floor. Sometimes it spawns close to the tall stairs or closer to the reception desk near the exit gate.
If you only start or only repair some of the generator, you will not get the achievement. If the killer disconnects after you have repaired the generator it will not count towards the achievement; not a true escape.

Looks like the devs are full of shite. Only 1 additional person unlocked this and refreshed their TA in multiple hours time? Seems very unlikely. unless the map is like 0.5% chance

There's not much else a guide can tell you except where the generator is. The game requires the team to function well and the player to be able to last in chases. If either of those things don't happen you need to rely on the hatch. That's about all there is to the game. If you don't get it in one game get it in the next. The guide is fine.

It's not that this solution is horrible, moreso that it's not better than the one the poster was flaming. Considering the other person deleted their solution and therefore the context is gone, I'll also delete my response.
In my opinion a solution contains any useful advice. I guess if your idea is just for it to be very concise and detail the hard requirement only, fair enough.

I can’t believe people are complaining about this solution! It’s common sense! Like the description in the achievement says it’s pretty straight toward! People complain just to complain. Upvote for me just for taking the time to clarify.
And a side note …..if you can’t figure out the generator achievements by now you don’t need to be playing this game! Christ people will bitch about anything anymore!

We got it on the pc version and two of us repaired it and it didn’t pop so it might have to be one person at a time.
So after several attempts this morning no dice!
After hours of trying for the map. Repaired the generator and got a hatch escape. Doesn’t work.

Wow. Sorry you all are having the problems you are having. I played a match with some friends last night. Two of them repaired the generator and they both got it. Both escaped through the gates. In the past, a hatch escape did not count for the map achievements. It may be back to that again unfortunately. Thanks for the feedback.

After trying for a couple of days and getting the map twice and both times having a sweaty red rank killer, finally came up against a hook camping cannibal. Popped 5 generators whilst he facecamped, opened the gate and left. Finally finished the game (again)
2 people completed the generator so I dont think thats a problem?

Have played like 30 games since the update. I got about 4 of the offerings for the map but haven't seen it randomly just once... It's odd to me how they want test data to gauge the map stability but won't allow us to choose to play on the map... Guess I'm just going to wait for the RPD badge to be enabled

The hatch has been an option in the past. Also, hatch was also not an option too. It seems that now it might be back to not being an option.
This is pretty typical with the map achievements in this game. I would guess that all will be right by mid-chapter; mid-August. If we are lucky, it will be taken care of before that.

Can confirm the RPD badges come up in the bloodweb but are “retired” and unusable. I’ve played 2+ hours everyday since the resident evil update and only have had the map come up once as a killer and not once as a survivor.

Finally saw my first Racoon City Police Department map but had someone jump on the generator at the very last second and it didn't pop for me. Achievement is definitely buggy. This was after over 200 games, doesn't help either I've spent over 5 million blood points and haven't even seen the offering once... been trying on both Windows 10 and Xbox non-stop, fully prestiged 2 characters.

4 AM, repaired the generator, first to escape via door, no unlock
update just a couple games later, found the map again, did the exact same thing, repaired generator, teammate hopped on right before it finished but this time the achievement unlocked when I escaped via the door.

I agree with you Unmet about waiting until mid-chapter patch. "Hopefully" all will be resolved by then.
Just a guess, but maybe the issue is a crossplay one??? When the content was released, xbox was doing fine with the map while other systems were having compatibility issues. I know I went against an xbox killer when I got mine to unlock. Maybe windows to xbox is fine but against playstation is not???

This is pretty bad that with every dlc update comes another wave of chance of finding the one map that you need to unlock a single achievement. Still playing this game about 10 hours a day hopping to find the RPD map, least I unlocked it on the windows 10 edition.

I just did this and the achievement didn't unlock. Probably wait until they fix the game. And yes, I know it's the right gen, yes I fixed it to completion, and yes I escaped. I left someone to die on a hook for it, someone who was very helpful and flashlight saved a bunch of people.

I think the best this to hope for is a fix at mid-chapter. The update is tomorrow. It will not be on Switch.... perhaps the Nintendo players are to blame for all of this.

Well you two. You both seem pretty upset.
The badge is a map offering and is currently disabled. That was mentioned. What toolbox are you talking about? A toolbox is not need for this achievement or any other? They may be helpful but not necessary.
If we look back on previous maps it usually took 4 weeks to get a patch for the achievement to unlock. The last new map was the school and that one actually worked. The one before that was the saloon. That one took 4 weeks. Updates happen on Tuesdays. It is a guess as to when it will be fixed and that is why I put "personally" as to sight myself as the source of that estimate. The "reason" for the flaming I thought was pretty clear. An achievement like this really does not need a detailed solution. Fix the gen and escape. I didnt downvote the previous solution. You asked why it was downvoted. I gave some feedback. If people like this one more, they can upvote or not. We are both trying to help people. Including me to you.

Yeah, 33 people unlocked it in the first 2 two days. Then the next was on the 22nd. My guess is that that person either just signed up on TA or did not log into xbox for 9 days. Strange. I just unlocked it today; first match first try. Luck was on my side.

I guess I must have been quite unlucky as I played a good amount of games trying to get the map for this last achievement...I can't wait to get destroyed by some red rank god when I finally do get this map to show up...

Had awful luck with this so far.
My first comment was on my account. Still salty about that.
Then proceeded to get the map 3 times on my friends account. Escaping all 3 times through the door. 100% it on their account now…
Switch back to my account. At least 400 games now. Got to the point where I’m just quitting as soon as the game starts because I’m sick of seeing Coldwind Farm for the 8th time in a row. Had the map pop up twice. First was against the twins which was a very hard match and ultimately lost.
Second time was a Bubba with Ruin, Noed, BBQ and (forgotten the name, it’s a Pyramid Head perk. Kick a geny and lose your terror radius for a bit).
Anyways. Team done nothing. Done 4 generators. Get downed. Hooked. Team do the final one as soon as I get hooked then left me for dead. Haven’t had it since.
Just going to wait for it to be fixed then come back to it. I’m really not enjoying DBD because of issues like this.
