Dead Cells

Hmm did it but no achievement. Unfortunate. Update: closed out my game and came back a couple days later and it unlocked. I did not use the activation, just the little swipes

It only seems to unlock if the final hit to Death is from the cat's skill activation. Stand next to him and hit LT or RT to launch the cat. The minor swipes that the cat randomly does, do not seem to count. I beat him twice with the final hit from the cat's passive skill, and it did not unlock.

Unlocked for me when I did the skill activation like PHD said. A good thing to note is I also had “No Mercy” so I technically insta-killed Death when he went under the threshold

Unlocked for me when the cat casually scratched Death to... death because it had a tiny bit of health left after my skill activation.

Is this achievement bugged recently? Did this one in every way possible, letting the cat deal the last damage with the small swipes and also activating the skill, still it didn't unlock :(
I'm playing on the PC version, anyone know what can I try differently?

I don t know cause i did it in normal mode but custom games have some options that if turned on disable achievements unlock, maybe it s the reason, the options that disable achievements are flagged with a lock i think

@gingerbread man, on the castle outskirts level (coming from the starting level) you'll see a cat running around randomly on the map. Run up to it and it'll say RB/r1/whatever to interact with it and doing that will drop a key. Later in the level you'll run into a locked door that you sue the key and find maria in the locked room. She will talk to you about stuff and then say not to forget to ept her cat. Cat is sleeping next to her, walk up and interact with it and it'll wake up and the Maria's cat item is unlocked. It auto equips
