How to unlock the Size doesn't matter achievement in Dead Cells - Definitive Guide

Edit: How to kill the giant. Hit him till he dies and don't die first. For a video guide with tips I found this

I order to reach the Giant you need to first enter the Caverns biome then proceed through Guardian's Haven.

In order to get to the Cavern, you need the cavern key. It's actually at the very start of the game.
Do you know that giant hole you can enter and when you go in there is a big lava pit? That is where the key is. You see a door over the pit that is locked. You need to be able to detach from your body. Shoot your green blob thing as far as you can. I had to jump and then do it to make it. You want to go PAST the door, so you are under then hit the A button to jump. Time it right and make it to the wall under the door/lock. Then move up and unlock the door. Go back to your body and jump across.

Then you need to make your way to the Graveyard where you will find the door to the Caverns. Through the Cavern make your way to the Guardian's Haven exit.

(NOTE: you also need all the runes to access the Cavern)

Recommended Path:
Prisoners’ Quarters --> Toxic Sewers --> Anicent Sewers --> Insufferable Crypt -->Graveyard -->Caverns --> Guardian's Haven

You can go this way too, but I think you need 3 boss souls to get from Ramparts to the Crypt.
Prisoners’ Quarters --> Promenade of the Condemned --> Ramparts --> Insufferable Crypt -->Graveyard -->Caverns --> Guardian's Haven

Hey! I downvoted this in its current state. This is great for getting to Guardians Haven and finding the Giant, but it doesn't help with actually defeating it in any way. I'd recommend a general explanation of how the boss acts/attacks and a good way to defeat it.
Thank you toast

I didn’t use this solution to get me there, I was generally exploring new areas and came across Guardian’s Haven, then got wiped out by the Giant the first time and second time that I came across him. Then came here to see if there were any tips.

If anything having a quick look now at the other solution for getting to Guardian’s Haven is more than enough for finding the Giant, as it appears to contain the boss and that’s all.

I don’t need exact weapons or items to use, just an outline of what I might be facing. How he attacks, if there are multiple phases like with the Hand of the King etc.

I have to admit, that's a bit of a harsh reason to downvote. facepalm

I think it's far harder to figure out HOW to get to the giant. How to beat him is up to you. How do you like to play? There are MANY play styles to this game. I have no idea how you like to play. If you are great at your play style then you should have no problem beating him. It's far more complicated trying to figure out the convoluted way to get him.

Did I save you time getting there? Did I... GUIDE you to getting there. Then it's still a guide.

I provided you with two routes and a downloaded map. I put effort into this. I took time to do this. It's really demotivating to get downvotes when I am trying to help. You should understand that as a guide writer and mod on this site. It's user created content. And you make me want to just delete this guide altogether. So what's better? No route at all, or a route to help people get there?
