Several weapons have been upgraded in rarity for NG+, for example the white quality Officer’s Sword in the glass case in the first house is now a purple quality Officer’s sword. The Raven is also purple quality. Black Magic and Gastric Bypass in Venice Beach have both been upgraded to purple and Gastric Bypass has level 3 Caustic instead of level 1. Several of the revenant weapons aren’t that amazing but The Classic, Last Shot, and the chef’s knife from Ocean Avenue (forget the name) are pretty exceptional, some of them allowing 4 perks to be selected.
