Hellfire - Garage in starting point in Bel-Air
Maw - Underground garage in Halperin Hotel
Mauler - Near campers at the other end of Monarch Studios
Impaler - Near gates in Beverly Hills
Banshee - Where the biomass is in Brentwood Sewer
Ravager - In the passage that leads to the tower in military camp on Venice Beach
Bile - In the big hole outside of shopping mall in Ocean Avenue
Wail - Near ocean in The Pier
Hellborn - Go right after you spawn and jump from the train in Metro
Flayer - Outside re-aging clinicn in Hollywood Boulevard

To specify that they are special enemy for exemple crusher or screamer (many pv) with generally a group of enemy with the revenant, so good stuff and probably coop is the best 👍🏻

Some of them early on like The Maw seem impossible, but you can pretty much spam respawn and just keep chipping away at them. I only did 4/10 tonight. This upate isn't going to be as annoying as I feared, but there is still too many new DLCs out this month.

The flayer could be cheesed if you lure her to the re-aging clinic and damage her through the front doors. Also, the Impaler is located at the northern gate of Beverly Hills (at the top of the map); he is a variant of a butcher-type apex zombie.

For some reason, game didn't count Hellfire for me, even though he died.

I had many problems with Maw but I found a good way to deal with him. If you walk him to the shortcut to the spawn room with the workbench and map, you can attack him and heal until you run out then, run back to the spawn room, make more medkits, and run right back as he doesn't despawn because you don't get far enough for him to loose aggro.

Same. I took down Maw just 1 second ago on 2nd try, no progress on tracker. Maybe it doesn't have one?

I was playing in solo session. First one did regenerate, 2nd didn't.
I suppose 2nd didn't regen because I lured it our of spawn zone, and it didn't make to the spawn zone to regen when I attacked again

The Ravager is just fucking bullshit. ~40 minutes I'm trying to kill him. Almost got him 2 times......... So far he is the only one who regen his life for me (I'm alone in a coop session.)

Edit: Finally got him. Fuck this revenant.

Tip for The Flayer. Have the Flayer follow you near the lotusville re-aging clinic and go inside. The Flayer should be near the door. While inside you can attack The Flayer and when I did this, The Flayer only attacked me twice.

Fyi the Flayer won’t appear until after you complete the story. So don’t worry if she isn’t there at first.

Definitely create an LFG post on the console. The NG+story and the revenants are a cakewalk in coop. Just make sure at least one person stays alive so you can rez and keep their health from regenerating.

I'm at level 30 and these guys have skulls on their name, has anyone tried them at level 40? Are they still skull enemies, are they still this difficult and spongy? I just killed the maw and I had to use all health packs, all my ammo for 5 guns and a lot of running around like mad. He almost one shot me during fury. This seems overtuned to me.

The Revenants will always be one level higher than you. Quick tip for the impaler and the Ravager perfect block to stagger them then use the Superior melee electrocutor mod keep hitting the enemies it stun locks them just keep hitting and block.

A couple of them regained health, but most didn't regen. I launched co-op but didn't have anyone in the game.

@RancidVessel14 - You most likely already killed it on your initial run through the area as you literally have to walk past it when you enter the area. That’s what happened to me anyway when I went back through them.

@RancidVessel14 it’s one of the crushers. The big guys that look like their on steroids. He drops the ‘Last Shot +’ pistol so check if you have that in your inventory. That was also confirmation that I had killed it already.

Don’t know if you want to add these weapons to your guide that they drop. You can’t sell the weapons it can help you identify if you have already killed one

So I hosted then completed all 10 Revenants and got the achievement but my friend did not get them. We had them load up their game and no achievement. Also we don't have the revenants on their save since we already defeated them together so we can't re fight them. Anyone Else have this happen?

The Site Foreman is not a Revenant, he drops a lockbox key. The Revenants listed above have all been correctly named so far

@Clap That Fool no The Impaler is a Vicious Butcher that, like the solution says, spawns near the gate back to Bel-Air (gates to Emma’s house). He spawned for me after I rescued Michael in Monarch and had met Sam B to get the guns. A Putrid Slobber spawns by him (or did for me) so nuke him first or his Bile Blobs will kill you. The Impaler has an obscene amount of hit points, you’ll know when you fight him. He drops The Classic + hatchet weapon.

If you still have the ripper, use this and always dogde, hit, dodge and so on. Dodging is your best friend in beating the revenants

i still cannot actually believe they made the last zombie a copy of the final boss from the SoLA DLC. That was so hilarious i almost spat out my IRN BRU that was in my mouth to drown the haggis down my throat while i was playing the bagpipes

the site foreman is not the impaler. Like Tyman said, I didn't see Impaler until after Michael. For me I think he was at the south end of the map, near that gate in Bel Air. Definitely deal with the Slobber first.

So far, Bile is the most annoying for me. There were some other strong enemies near it and I just ran away after like 20 deaths and it was super easy when I went back.

@x MuRdA mE x beat the Reubenator and finish the campaign. Then it WILL spawn. Small tip - lure it to the clinic, go further for a bit and stay hidden (if you still have Saw-gun from SOLA Fest - it's the best choice)

Revenants are special zombies with their own names, they also drop special named weapons. There is 1 revenant per location:
Bel-Air - the revenant is located right at the beginning of the location in the garage, you can't miss it.
Hotel "Galperin" - in the underground parking in front of the hotel.
Beverly Hills - near the entrance from the Bel Air location (after returning from Monarch Studios).
Monarch Studio - near the trailers.
Brentwood Sewers - the "meat" part of the sewers, after the big hall, hard to miss.
Venice Beach - hard to miss when walking down the corridor at the military base.
Ocean Avenue is a vomit pit in a large hole near a shopping center, the only one without its own name.
Pier - on the shore near the scientists' base and the rescue hut, emerges from the sand if you get close.
Metro - near a large pile, like jumping off a train, hard to miss as you progress through the story.
Hollywood Boulevard - After completing the story, it will be not far from the safe room on the alley.
