How to unlock the Welcome To Hell-A achievement in Dead Island 2 - Definitive Guide

Should be your first achievement in the game.
After the tutorial, reaching your safe house and doing some "cleaning", you'll unlock it... Maybe.
It seems it may be bugged right now, I did it twice now with two characters and no pop, but the story cheevo after this one unlocked fine... Already in need of a patch :]

I unlocked it fine but yeah I expected some glitches as well.

Not feeling like deleting my endgame character tbh. I'll wait for a patch to start another killer. Had no issues with the cheevos other than 2 story ones that didn't unlock. Game was great fun !

Tried with 3 diffrent characters even after deleting my save data, still won't unlock!!

I was hoping the recent game update would solve it but no luck, still nothing after completing the prologue :(

Good news gamers! With today's update on Thursday August 24th, 2023, this achievement seems fixed! I had to restart a character from scratch and finish up to the mission Desperately Seeking Emma again, but it popped for me. Just in time for the DLCs new achievements lol

It glitched for me and i can't get it to unlock - did anyone find a workaround? I have tried running through the start with a couple of new characters

Yeah, also bugged for me. Got every other achievement fine. Tried playing through the tutorial on Xbox One X as well (series X was my proper playthrough) - no luck

Done it with 4 characters and it didn't unlock, then tried deleting save data and it popped next time around.

Story related. When you get to Emma’s mansion and kill all of the zombies on the grounds (completing the ‘Bel-Air Brawl’ story quest) to create a safe zone, this will pop.
