How to unlock the Ah! Spoiled meat! achievement in Dead Island Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide

* Fast travel to the Laboratory or select chapter 14 from new game with your main character.

* Buy an axe off the merchant and upgrade it (optional)

* Run out of the lab heading left, turn left at the junction.

* When you reach the gate there will be cages on your left and right, the left ones are sort of hidden but look for the catwalk or metal walkway on your left you can't miss it.

* In the last cage on the left there will be a butcher.

* Bash his brains in, job done.

I used a: White, fully upgraded, NO MODS, "Debilitation Big Universal Axe"

The above solution is easy but if you want it early then just go on any of the Arenas, Easy Arena is best because they are such a low level when you get the wave with them.

I got it from the first time they introduce the Butcher in the Jungle with a cutscene or you can also get this by the time you reach WAVE 14+ in the arena. Then they show up. the only actual problem here is to have a axe ready in your inventory to use. The video method works also.

Even easier, simply play through the game, when you get to act 3 you will be introduced to butchers. 5/6 hits with an axe.
