You can achieve this in Act IV

*Spoiler alert*

right before there will be crates with grenades on it.
After killing the guards there will be waves of Infected (not walkers) rushing towards you.

what is the difference between an infected and a walker ? I am still in act III so I am not aware. Perhaps is something to do with the story, right ?

Thre fast running zombies are Infected. The ones that scream and run after you.

I used a deo bomb on an infected but didn't get this achievement, so it must be only grenade specific.

Exploding meat bomb works

I can second the exploding meat bomb.

Did it in the arena. Waited till the first wave with infected, saved one alone till the end, and gave him the goods. For some reason the first bomb didn’t do damage, but the second one killed us both.

Deo bomb either doesn't count or tackle to slow it down ruined it.
