I hate the analog controls but fists and weapons both work with it, Just run along and hold the left trigger and flick the right analog stick in any direction, I've found using up and down can take their heads off for an easier kill but I mash it whatever way I can in a panic, Got 100 ish kills on story mode and tested the arena for the first time ever and there were more enemies there if someone wanted to grind it a lot quicker than natural progression which I would suggest if you hate using the analog as much as me.

Just brought my Legendary Rifle, and plenty of ingredients to make ammo. Turned on Analog, and boom. Super easy.

so... how do you actually do it -- START >OPTION? GO INTO CONTROLS? which 1?

A somewhat rather annoying trophy since most players are using the DIGITAL fight type ( 
). In order to change it to analog. Press 
Options for your menu. Go to OPTIONS then the tab CONTROLS. At the bottom you see "Fight Type". Switch here to ANALOG and save with 
.
Now how this works is, you have to hold and while holding it you have to use the RIGHT STICK 
swinging either up and down or from left to right or vice versa. You can even use your fists for this if you run out of melee weapons.
You can track your progress by pressing Options button, go to Extras, and then trophies. Locate the specific trophy and it will tell you how many you have so far.
Give the solution a thumbs up if it worked.
