Kill combos are for killing enemies without being injured. So you must kill 99 enemies in a row without damage. This is most easily done on level 3-8 since it has the most enemies of any stage. Also, by the time you reach this stage, you should be familiar with all the enemy types and have the crossbow that shoots buzzsaws unlocked. There should always be a way to hit the enemies or move past them. Just try to memorize the level (or find a YouTube video) and focus on avoiding being hit. There are more than enough enemies on 3-8 to get to 99 kills.
TIPS
Use your weapon powerup (recommend crossbow, used with
) or magic attack (any will clear the screen with ) only when needed
Take note of lane clearing enemies (Dogs, Fat zombies, shield guys, barrels, explosive guys). These help kill more enemies with less chance of being hit. Take out explosive guys with projectiles like barrels, dogs, and shields. Hit the shield guys with
to launch their shield up and use as projectile. You can also hit back knives that are thrown with any attack (just like a barrel or dog).
