When Harlow returns in Chapter 3 she will ask you to go to the Research Laboratory in the north east corner of Palanai Island as part of the Way of Science main quest. Inside the Research Laboratory you will meet Dr. Kessler and you will have to complete the Dr. Kessler main quest (Chapter 4). Dr. Kessler will then give you the History Lesson side quest and you must perform the following actions: - Wait until you get access to the tunnels - Get inside the old tunnels - Find clues for Dr. Kessler - Collect a sample of the toxic substance - Find anomaly - Collect a tissue sample - Find notes - Talk to Kessler
You will not be able to get into the tunnels to complete this side quest until you have completed the following main quests: - House of God (Chapter 5) - Pump Action - Change of Plans - Heavy Equipment - Stalwart Defense - The Tunnels (Chapter 6)
You can go back through the tunnels to Dr. Kessler to get the achievement and your Golf Club reward, or you can fast travel to the Research Laboratory after completing the The Crossing and the Terminal Siege main quests.
