Edged melee weapons consist of machetes, knives, cleavers, axes, swords etc. They are marked with a sword icon in your inventory. You will more than likely get this trophy naturally just by playing the game. As with every trophy, you can check your progress in the "Extras" => "Trophies" part of the pause menu.
