Judging by the description it should be pretty self explanitory, but a real easy way to do it is to just start the story mode. After the first fight against Zack (which is DEAD EASY) the achievement will pop.

The requirement for unlocking this trophy is fairly straightforward. Simply play a match in either fight mode, online mode or story.

This may well end up being the first trophy you'll unlock.
