To earn this achievement that's called "First Tag Battle", you must play your first tag battle match.
I got this during Story mode. Work your way up to Chapter 18, Sparring, and you will be pitted in a match against Brad Wong and Eliot as the opposing team, with Tina and Mila as your team. Go through the entire match and once you either win or lose, the achievement should unlock.
Another way to earn this achievement is to go to Versus, then Tag Match, then select your side. Then select your characters, for both yours and the enemies for the teams, play through that match, and you'll get the achievement that way as well.

Playing a tag battle in online, arcade, time attack or versus modes will unlock the trophy at the end of the fight.
It is also possible to unlock this in story mode as eventually you will be placed into a tag team match.

For this trophy you must simply play a Tag Battle, you can earn this by playing a Tag Match in one of the Fight Modes or in Versus. If you are playing through the story mode first the trophy will automatically unlock during the last fight of Mila’s chapter where you have a tag match with Tina against Brad Wong and Eliot.
