How to unlock the Ultimate Power! achievement in DEAD RISING 2: CASE WEST - Definitive Guide

This is the fastest way to get to level 50 that I found. First find the maintenance room on the bottom floor of the holding pens on the left side of the map In the middle by a save spot. The maintenece room will have two grenades inside and there will be two footballs outside of the room. Make A save at the restroom there then go grab the two footballs and combine them with the two grenades. Now go out to the main room in the middle of the holding pens (it's to the right of the save room with the octagon shape in the middle if your looking at the map) and look to your right by the entrance to the harvesting room (in the research lab) and there will be a big group of zombies. Aim towards the middle and toss one football grenade. You should get alot of your pp meter filled up. Now find another large group of zombies and do the same thing with your other football grenade. You should almost be leveled up. If your having trouble with the swat guys shooting you just roll by pushing the left stick in and they cant hit you. Now go to the restroom and save your game then reload it and do it all over again till your level 50. Any questions feel free to ask me LBCeroy via xbox live.

Just a couple of questions... Does your level from Dead Rising 2 transfer over to Case West? So, if I were already a 50 in DR2, does that mean I will get the achievement right there or does it start from level 1?

Sorry about the stupid questions. I got Case Zero the other day and I'm going to get Dead Rising 2 sometime soon and probably Case West when the price lowers down.

Interesting I didn't know that. I would hate to have to start from level 1 again . I will update and give you credit for the info thanks.

It's not true that you always start at level 40. I did, but I was playing co-op with a friend and he started at lv 1, with no special moves and only a couple of inventory slots and bars of health.

Perhaps it looks at your DR2 saves? He was close to the end of DR2 but hadn't finished, and we suspected that finishing DR2 would cause him to start DR2:CW at level 40.

I started a new game with a brand new account and it started me off at level 40. I don't know what your friend did to start at level one. Maybe if you haven't played DR 2 then you start at 40 but if you have then you start at 1.

From the shipping office run to the first floor maintenance room and make up a hail mary (football & grenade). Now jump into one of the golf carts and wait for 20 zombies to attack your cart. Jump out, throw the hail mary and cash in 500pp per zombie. Back to the shipping office and rinse & repeat. Hope it helps.

Luckily, you start the game at level 40. Killing zombies with combo weapons yield PP every time. Certain combo weapons give you more PP depending on what character you are playing as i.e. Frank gets more with the Zap n' Shine, Chuck gets more with the Impact Blaster.

Killing the special soldiers (Zombie Handlers, Security Guards, etc.) also garner from 500-1000PP per kill. After clearing an area of most of these types of enemies, you can leave to the other portion of the facility (loading screen portions), return, and they should all be regenerated for your killing pleasure.

Don't forget the PP sticker opportunities spread about that you can take a picture of. Unfortunately, I've only found one of them. :D Destroying the security cameras get you 150PP per kill, and help toward the "Petty Vandal" achievement.

thanks, I found the combos to be the key to this quickly. I just used the shocker over and over and got 500 pp for each kill. It was done quick and easy.

This achievement is far less daunting than it sounds, as you start off a level 40. The quickest way I found to get this achievement is to create as many laser guns as you can carry. You do this by combining a flashlight and gems to make a laser sword, a frequency blaster and electric prod to create a lightning gun, and then combine the two to create the laser gun. The easiest place to find the components is in the living quarters, with the exception of the electric prod which you can get off any zombie wrangler throughout the facility.

Once you load up your inventory with laser guns go to the floor level below the security tower where there are masses of zombies and unload on groups of them. Each direct hit on a zombie is 300 PP and any zombies caught in the splash damage are 200 PP each. I was regularly earning 2,000 PP per shot. It adds up very quickly. When the zombies are thinned out pop into the Harvesting Room and come back out and they will be replenished. Continue zapping away.

Zombie handlers and security guards are also one shot kills with the laser gun and give you 500 and 1000 PP respectively.

This is also how I got my 1,000 zombie kills achievement as you can kill large numbers of zombies with each shot. Each laser gun fires 20 shots.
