DEAD RISING 2: CASE ZERO

Ok after you get the Zombrex at the beginning of the game you'll have to push the bin with the motorcycle inside, well unlike all other weapons its indestuctible and its pretty quick movin. The zombies will thin out if you dont move locations and it may not kill every zombie with one hit but all the ones that didnt die the first pass will on the second. Starting a fresh game with zero kills it took me 25 mins.

I don't understand why people are making endless long posts how to get this achievement.

I can be very short and this is definitely the fastest way possible: When you have to bring the first motorcycle part to the safe house in the rolling container just use that thing, it's perfect because it doesn't wear out! Just don't bring it to your safehouse. Drive around in circles on the map and you'll have it in 20 minutes. Don't worry about all the zombies dieing because they will respawn.

Actually, you can do this while getting many other achievements. I´ve got it easily without much effort while getting the survivor achievement, the good end achievement, the open all the doors one... You just need the mayor tool of destruction: Queen Bees.

You´ll unlock these babies after a video, right after getting the motorbike and going to the town. From this point, just look a little more carefully at the zombies. You´ll see A LOT zombies that are looking to the air with their arms up. If you look at their back, you will see a little red light on their neck. This zombies have a Queen Bee, an item that kills all zombies in an area.

You basically have to take some time everytime you see one of these zombies, kill them, and pick the Queen Bee. Go either to the Gas Station or the Quarantine Area (where there are TONS of zombies) and use the queen. You´ll get 50+ kills per bee. That makes (in the worst scenerio, where you don´t kill anything) 20 bees. Maybe you think it´s insane, but there are tons of queens in the town, and they actually respawn after every loading screen. I´ve gotten many times 3 bees just near the Gas Station.

Best thing about this is that it doesn´t consume much time, so you can do other missions easily while killing them, as each time you spot a bee it´s 50+ free zombies at once with one item. If you somehow see it´s getting dark, keep in mind that once the main mission expires or you use the Zombrex with your kid, you won´t be able to kill more, so be a little faster. Once it´s dark, using a queen results in zombies launching green larvas when they die, which can hurt you. If you are close enough, just run from them once the bee is used.

A tip by SharpWatermelon: Just as a side note to the Queen Bee awesomeness, every once in a while I have found some hanging around under Bob presumably from zombies he has killed. Maybe checking down there every now and then wouldn't hurt while you're running through doing missions.

I didn't bother with this achievement until I was level 5 and had already gotten the best ending, but you can likely do this whenever. My method was pretty simple:

First, complete the main story missions until you rescue the pawn shop owner. Once you've rescued the pawn shop owner and have access to his shop, buy a shitload of moose heads. Just dump every penny you have into some god damn moose heads. If you need more money, break all the ATMs, slot machines, and the cash register in the casino across the street. You should walk out with about $7900.

Now pick up a moose head from your gigantic pile and hold X to charge up and down the streets, killing just about every zombie you come into contact with. Once that moose head wears out, go get another one. Each moose head is good for about 40 kills. I managed to get the achievement by 2:40 on Chuck's watch this way. I don't know if it's the fastest method, but it sure seems like the simplest and most guaranteed. You also work towards the achievement for spending $100,000 at the pawn shop this way.

Other tips: Keep an eye out for wasps you can use to kill large groups of zombies (especially useful if your moose head breaks in the middle of a horde), and make sure to have a decent backup weapon and a health item on you. If you run out of money and moose heads, you can just enter and leave the gas station/garage safe area and all the machines at the casino will regenerate.

I take no credit for the video that goes to Achievement Hunter: just follow the video and you'll have it in no time at all.

At the beginning of the game, you use a cart to get the motorcycle back to the gas station.

I used that to rack up about 350 kills, then used a combination of the Paddlesaw, Boomstick, and the Electric Rake to top off my thousand whenever there were large groups (mainly around the Quarantine area, the doors to the Gas station, and the supermarket carpark) the electric rake is by far the best if you can get the zombie's huddled together, and can be bought from the pawnshop.

The way I did this was I opened Bobs shop by climbing the trash can and then the stairs and then jump across to the air condition and climb up. Afterwards go straight and climb and then drop to the awning on the left and climb up and drop through the hole. In there is two assault rifles, two shotguns and an endless supply of handguns, just keep loading on on guns every time and this achievement should come easily. Hope this helps :)

The easiest way to finish this achievement is by grabbing the big trash bin with wheels and running around the map with it. It works well because 1) you run fairly fast with it, 2) it never breaks or deteriorates, and 3) by the time you make it to one end of the map, the zombies at the other end have respawned.

Keep in mind, this achievement does NOT accumulate over multiple playthroughs. You'll need to get all 1000 kills in one game.

This is the way I got the zombie exterminator achievement. I started a new game and when you first start off you should make the nail and baseball bat combo. Both of these items are located right next to the workbench…a little to the left from where you start off if you begin a new game. After you make the combo and open the door leading to the junk yard there will be a sledge hammer leaning on a green van….grab it. On the exact opposite side there will be a bottle of whiskey, straight ahead from where you grabbed that bottle there will be another bottle of whiskey take that one as well. Now you should have the nailed bat, sledge hammer, and two bottles of whiskey in your inventory. Now walk into the building which has the bathroom and the door to enter Still Creek. After the loading screen you will immediately see a chain linked fence. Walk along the fence until it ends then take a left turn. You are at the gas station and you will see a large mob of zombies under a sign on a building that reads “Snacks & Cold Beer.” Use your nailed bat and sledge hammer to wipe out the mob. Keep going until both of your weapons are destroyed. If you manage to kill all the zombies under the “Snacks & Cold Beer” sign there should be another decently sized mob around the gas pumps and or the gas station sign. Drink your whiskey immediately if you reach only one square of health. After both of your weapons are destroyed run back to the safe house grab a new sledge hammer at the same location as before (the green van.) Also grab a new whiskey bottle if you used either of your previous ones. Go back inside the building with the work table and build a new nailed baseball bat. Rinse and repeat until you get your achievement. With this strategy it took me 11 times, about 95 kills a try, and about 35 minutes with loading screens from a new game with zero kills. (Kills do not carry over from previous story attempts.) Also you can skip all cut scenes by pressing the START button, as well as the cut scene when you are building the nailed baseball bat.
