How to unlock the Add to The Collection achievement in Dead Rising 3 - Definitive Guide

This is not really a solution, but a video for everyone who has trouble to bring the bike in south almuda back to torque (because the 3 roads are blocked).

i think the mission might just be incompletable if one blows up. I returned all of them except for one, which exploded. I am now waiting for Torque to progress to the next mission while he builds. The sidequest is still there on my screen, but there are no blue diamonds anywhere. Not sure if its a glitch that it didnt respawn, or you just cant do it. Either way, it is depressing that I spent all that time for nothing. I would rather do the pp trials again than this

I got all of the bikes to outside where Torque is then when I went to collect Torques bike, the bikes had started to blow up does this achievement include getting Torques own bike or just the blue diamond ones. When does it pop or should it of and any help as to which way is best going because I don't I know why I didn't get the achievement. If you could explain how you unlocked it I would be greatful, this is the last achievement needed in this section

Be warned. A punch from a maxed character will destroy one of the bikesangry I just found out cry

Same problem. My very last bike blew up because I ran over something explosive. Then the mission just stayed there. Not sure if it would respawn the bike (I'm just thinking of that now). So be careful while driving.

Can you put the 12 bikes in the workshop anytime after the side mission is unlocked I never realised I was supposed to drive them into the workshop to get them to count

There's actually an easier way to get the bikes to torque if you're coming from south Almuda. If you go down under the freeway, through the train station, you can avoid any highways, making the return trip so much quicker.

This achievement requires you to collect 12 special motorcycles (13 if you count the one that is story related) for Torque
There are 3 on each "block" and one on the highway in the middle of the map
Unfortunately you need to take each individual one back to Torque and if one blows up you need to restart from last checkpoint
Of course this is easier if you are already level 50 and have indestructible cars
There are a couple in South Almuda that requires you to drive through buildings since all the roads will be blocked off
This means SAVE OFTEN so you don't lose all the other collectibles that you have picked up during that time (your motorcycle might blow up and force you to revert back to last save).

EDIT: Feb. 27th, 2014
If one does blow up you do have to revert to last checkpoint that is why you should quick save often
EDIT: March 1st, 2014
Wintr17 in the comments said if you deliver one to the shop and Torque comments on it but then it blows up you're fine but only if Torque said something about the successful delivery
EDIT: April 3rd, 2014
JORAX has found out that if you get to a certain part in the story it is still possible to obtain the achievement (there is only one point of no return) the only point of no return in the story is when you go to fight the last boss so make sure that you return all of them before fighting the last boss

I was playing through this DLC getting some collectables but not going crazy, and this happened.

Is it still possible for me to get this achievement? The bikes are still marked and I didn't fail the side-quest.

the Indestructible vehicle skill carries over to the dlc's? I havent noticed it in any of them so far, its definitely not working for me

Yes if you hit back(two squares or whatever you call that) and see your skill tree it should be maxed if you have it maxed in the normal campaign

I never realised that you had to drive Torques bikes into the building then on of the bikes glitched into the wall

Just a note, I had one blow up after it was in the shop, but Torque had already commented on the bike's delivery,
That didn't affect the achievement. So, once you get off the bike in the shop and he comments, you're ok for that one.

This game is so stupid. I brought all the bikes to the shop, nothing happened. Then later after coming here and reading that you have to drive them in the shop, he died and I couldn't get the achievement....

Collected every bike but the achievement didn't pop :/ I have no more blue markers on my map neither.

@Scholesy City did you leave it in the store and listen for torque to comment on it
if so thats weird you're the first I heard of this not unlocking
I believe if you did everything right the reason why it didn't unlock is because Achievements on the one is an app and its glitchy (my friend didn't unlock some achievements when he was suppoe to on dead rising 3)

Yeah I did it with every bike :( not all on the same day mind, done it over the course of 2 days but I still don't see why it shouldn't have unlocked, none of my bikes caught fire neither. It's the 1st achievement on DR3 I've had any trouble with. I'm just going to continue onwards with the DLC and see what happens, might have to do it again by the looks of it.

I did all the bikes, but for some reason I still have a blue triangle while playing the game. When I go to the map it is not on the map just when I am running around. I got 10,000 PP for dropping each bike off and he made a comment. Fucking glitchy shit.

I also delivered all the bikes, and he made a comment about delivering them all. The achievement didn't pop and for some reason the mission was still active.

Jorax I'm not sure because whenever I did dlc for this game I unlocked everything then ran island to island getting everything
If it allows you to bring it back then it might still work
I would appreciate it if you left another comment when you have it saying if you earned all of them after the "major plot event" or if you had to restart
If you do I'll give you full credit for the finding of it in the solution

Yep - it unlocked! You can do this one at any time before the point of no return it seems.

Well, this didn't unlock for me after delivering every motorcycle. Is it completable if I restart the DLC?

@hunter xba
I have my own theory as to why some achievements don't unlock on the one and that's becsuse it's an app and therefore is glitchy if you try it again it might unlock it
My friend has had a similar issue where it didn't pop until a full day later when he was on YouTube
Hopefully they will fix this issue soon
My only help that I can give is to try it again

All bikes, no cheev. Although the blue diamond is gone in Central City one area still has a blue glow, no bike though on revisit. :(

That's a really terrible cheevo..
Without the "invincible vehicule" perk you can purchase once you're lvl50 it's gotta be impossible...
I was doing every zone one after another, finishing with Almuda and the one on the bridge was last... While crossing the bridge I ran into a set of barrels, the bike went belly up and exploded... After restarting my checkpoint the bike was gone.
Now to do another play hoping for the best...

Anyone know if you need to get them all in one playthrough? one exploded and despite me loading the checkpoint asap, it kept "exploding" the one that died the first time.

Not to be a "nit picker", you stated in your solution........"There are 3 on each "block" and one on the highway in the middle of the map "

Actually there are only two in Central City.........

Well, i did a run through, there are no bikes to collect left on the map... no achievement. Completed the DLC story, started again, got to the point you can start collecting them, and still none on the map, not even the story related one? Lol

@Darth Chimp it's most likely your download that is not showing them. Your best bet is to delete the dlc and reinstall it. It's been awhile for me, so I don't remember if the dlc was part of the title updates (automatically downloaded) but hopefully you won't have to reinstall the entire game again to fix it.

Great. Checkpoint reload works, quitting doesn't. God, these DLCs are all utter garbage in their own special way.

The car only sits at 1% health and then it is undestructable unless it's flipped forcing you to get out or if you get out willingly get out meaning if you exit the vehicle it can be destroyed
That might be your problem because I've had the feast mobile truck from Angel's add on health as low as it could go for a long drive while I was in it

I've sorted it with a simple reload checkpoint, collected all the bikes, got the story one and.... still glitches on me, won't pop. The rollerhawg doesn't count as one does it?

Yes these DLC'S are buttsauce. Completely sucked all fun I was having with the game out. This particular side quest is a whole other level of cancerous anal leakage.

This is part of the Chaos Rising DLC.

There are a total of 12 Customer Motorcycles within the city. They will be marked on your map as a blue side-mission indicator. Once you collect a bike, drive it back to Torque at Ironside Cycles. You need to drive the bikes into the showroom and place them in the blue circle marked on your mini map. Otherwise, they may blow up and cause you to miss the achievement, which will cause you to have to restart the DLC from scratch.

After completing the story quest, Tork will give you an extra. The task is to deliver 12 motorcycles to him. Be careful, they are quite fragile!
