How to unlock the Genius of Zombie Slaying achievement in Dead Rising 3 - Definitive Guide
In order to get this achievement efficiently, you should:
- Be level 50 and having maxed the Mechanic ability to unlock the ''Indestructible Vehicles'' perk.
- The best vehicles is the RollerHawg because of it's speed and deadly fire attachments.
The Method: Basically, you want to go to ''select chapter'' and load the chapter 3 (You will have enough time) and you want to head to district called '' Ingleton'' (Upper-left corner). There, grab your vehicle at the garage and then you want to follow the road on the picture below. Just stick to this road and you'll encounter plenty of zombies and little to no obstacles on your way. (It should take you about 1.5h hours to get to 72,000 kills)
If you think something should be added/removed, just leave me a comment below and we'll sort it out!
Good luck for the grinding !

Note: The PP challenges concerning kills require you to complete them all over again. What I mean by that is that when you reach for example 52,000 kill for the challenge, the kill count is set back to 0 in order for the new goal to be fulfilled.

Hey everyone I made a video walk through on a very easy way to do it. I tried the rollerhog and everything, This was the best way I could find.
The guide is in the description in the video as well. Good luck!

What is the name of this weapon, and how do you create it? Anyone know?

X blaster. You don't create it. If you read the video in the description it explains how to get it!

Check out this video for an easy mass kill strategy, can be used for all of the kill achievements as well as PP trials in the game!
I thought I would weigh in with my method....
Go to Ingleton, as Solution 1 states, there is a nice rectangular shape road to follow with ALOT of zombies in huge groups...however, rather than using a vehicle, I used the Split Shot custom weapon. If you have finished the game, and are at level 50+, with all books attached, you can kill anywhere from 250 - 400 zombies per Split Shot (has 150 bullets with attributes maxed out and all books attached). Also, when running around here, you will come across army zombies, with assault rifles, as well as run past a weapon shop filled with guns.....Should you have selected the skill where you can make any custom gun weapon, in this case Split Shot, with a blunt weapon and gun, then you can run around and create the Split Shot as you go. Very easy to rack up 1000+ kills per 5 minutes with this method, providing you have all criteria I outlined above.
Happy hunting.

While daunting, these kill achievements are a whole lot easier than the ones in previous Dead Rising games. The best way to farm these achievements are in Ingleton while rolling around in one of the more awesome combo vehicles, IE: The Rollerhawg. Make sure to maximize your Mechanic skill so that you can create invulnerable vehicles. Just beware of propane tanks lest you blow your vehicle up.
