How to unlock the Left 100,004 Dead achievement in Dead Rising 3 - Definitive Guide
In order to get this achievement efficiently, you should:
- Be level 50 and having maxed the Mechanic ability to unlock the ''Indestructible Vehicles'' perk.
- The best vehicles is the RollerHawg because of it's speed and deadly fire attachments.
The Method: Basically, you want to go to ''select chapter'' and load the chapter 3 (You will have enough time) and you want to head to district called '' Ingleton'' (Upper-left corner). There, grab your vehicle at the garage and then you want to follow the road on the picture below. Just stick to this road and you'll encounter plenty of zombies and little to no obstacles on your way. (It should take you about 2 hours to get to 100,004 kills)
If you think something should be added/removed, just leave me a comment below and we'll sort it out!
Good luck for the grinding !

Note: The PP challenges concerning kills require you to complete them all over again. What I mean by that is that when you reach for example 52,000 kill for the challenge, the kill count is set back to 0 in order for the new goal to be fulfilled.

Agreed that Chapter 8 is far more ideal. Larger clusters of zombies plus you’ll have Chuck riding along so it feels like the good old days of DR2 grinding out the kills.
I absolutely recommend clearing out all movable vehicles in the path. Great thing about this game is even if you save and quit the game, positions of movable objects stays the same as when you saved. Along the path in this solution move all vehicles either into parking lots you won’t visit or along streets not directly in the path (I have a blockade of cars by example next to the gas station operating on a clockwise route along the path). Trust me with all of them out of the way it’s even smoother sailing just being able to drive full speed through all the hordes. Use the roller hog to do so with relative ease or if you want something like the Megaman buster. Can’t move the large vehicles like army trucks or fire trucks but...they’re easy enough to dodge.
Again no time limit is nice but also the more zombies the better. The faster this achievement gets done. Plus used towards the adjacent PP trials related to mass zombie kills this is ideal. I feel like I was pulling maybe a thousand or so kills a lap, at full speed that’s under a minute (I haven’t timed it directly yet).

Thumbs up from me, but as Budafiend said you should really do this LAST along with the PP Trial for killing 200K. Doesn’t necessarily need to be in the solution, as these comments (and common sense) should suffice instead. After a full playthrough on Normal, a quick playthrough on Nightmare, completing all the other PP trials, and a little dinking around with weapons sometimes, I had 90,000+ kills.
I’m sitting at 18K/200K for my last PP trial, so 4 hours or driving around. Kind of sucks. I plan on buying the Season Pass so perhaps I could wait, but I have the urge to complete this now.
Just thought of this now, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to create a mobile locker and grab some Mega Blasters or powerful weapon in case you crash or something. Then you can get some kills on your way back to the garage along with clearing a path. Of course, if you crash right away, and you created a mobile locker than you’d have to wait to spawn a new Rollerhawg or make another.

You are going to get a ton of the kills going after other achievements, but this is the rout that I found to be most efficeint. The reason I picked this route was a high kill per minute and if you lose the rollerhog you have a few way to get a new one quickly. check out the video I made for it.
I shared this in the PP Hound achievement, but in case you're looking elsewhere, forgive the repost here:
If you enjoy long grinding with lots of repetitive laps, THIS SOLUTION IS NOT FOR YOU.
DR. FUNKILL or How I Learned to Stop Grinding and Love the Massive Bomb
When I saw this achievement, I wanted to shoot MYSELF, not the zombies. Hate grinding achievements...hate them. The fastest method is definitely the Markyshizzle's Roller-hog, on Chapter 8, doing laps. But, Seriously? Who wants to grind kills for three hours like that? If I wanted to do endless laps on the same track for hours on end, I would have bought Forza 5.
No.
Here was the method I used to spice things up a bit. This solution assumes you've completed everything else and are Level 50 with all stats maxed.
1) SET UP TIME
- Jump to Chapter 8.
-Run to the garage across the street and make the Mobile Locker. Immediately spawn 4 split shots.
- Get up to Ingleton and begin a pass of the North West quadrant, with your priority to clear the road of all vehicles. A little time here will help immensely with both sections 2 and 4 of this method.
- Then return the Mobile Locker to the Garage and make another split shot if you can.
- Make the Rollerhog in the Garage.
- "Cache" all your spawned split shots at the corner of the intersection immediately across from the Ingelton garage. Just drop them on the ground there to pile up. We'll use these later.
2) ROLLERHOG RUN
- Now make the Rollerhog in the Garage
- Go do some laps until you're sick of it. For me that was about 10 laps. Yawn.
3) SPLIT SHOT CACHING
- Stop by the Gun store next to the movie theater. Fill your inventory with guns.
- Return to the garage
- In the garage you'll find a massive supply of wrenches. Combine these with the guns you picked up earlier.
- Remember that "cache" spot you created? Run back there and drop all your split shots.
- Go to your mobile locker. Spawn 4 more split shots and drop those in the cache
- Run back to the gun shop, on the way looking for any firearms or blunt objects. (Note: You'll run out of wrenches long before you do guns. A handy source of blunt objects? Parking Meters! Go Cool Hand Luke on them... )
- Repeat the steps above until you can't do it anymore.
- In the end you should have around 30-40+ Split shots piled up. Now comes the fun part...
4) RIDICULOUS SPLIT SHOT KILL STREAK
- Fill up your inventory with Split Shots
- Following the same path that you did on the Rollerhog run, mow down all zombies with split shots. Your kill rate should be very similar to the bike (around 950+ per minute)
- If the zombies thin up, slow down your shooting. Use an occasional shot to keep your string alive (very easy to do with split shot)
- One "lap" this way should use up about 4 guns. By the time you return to the cache site, you should be able to pick up 4 fresh guns (shot once per pickup to keep the streak alive)
- Repeat the steps above until you run out of split shots (see my online ranks below. Can you beat me?)
5) CELEBRATE WITH MASSIVE BOMBS
- Now that you've raked up ridiculous kills streaks and exhausted Ingelton's supply of parking meters, time for fireworks. You mobile locker should have a full inventory now!
- Spawn a Massive bomb, put it a crowded place, enjoy the show and pick up 700+ insta-kills
- Repeat in a new location
6) REPEAT 1-5
This method helped me keep my sanity while at the same time satisfied my twisted OCD need to get 100% completion for the game.
Using this method I currently have the #20 longest kill streak (29860) on the leaderboard, and the #31 Total Earned PP (240216827). I could get more but, honestly, I need to take a break from all that zombie killing.
Let me know what you think! And, if you leave a negative vote, please let me know why!

While daunting, these kill achievements are a whole lot easier than the ones in previous Dead Rising games. The best way to farm these achievements are in Ingleton while rolling around in one of the more awesome combo vehicles, IE: The Rollerhawg. Make sure to maximize your Mechanic skill so that you can create invulnerable vehicles. Just beware of propane tanks lest you blow your vehicle up.

Well, I think everything is clear from the description. The best thing about this game is that everyone you killed (zombies), everything you collected (drawings, figurines, tragic deaths) goes into general statistics and when you restart the chapter, you still have everything. So we restart the chapter (preferably 3 or 4), get into the Motorcycle or Turret (combo auto), choose a route with a bunch of zombies (you can go around one street in a circle, the zombies respawn with a bang) and fill up the counter =)
