How to unlock the Master Builder achievement in Dead Rising 3 - Definitive Guide
For those who are having issues with this achievement popping (Due to Co-Op Play) then I found this potential solution on 360achievements.org

"We all know how the blueprints achievement tracker messes up in co-op, but I have a solution that worked for me to get the achievement. After I beat the game, my partner and I had found/unlocked 98 of the 101 weapon blueprints and 8 of the 11 vehicle blueprints (so 106 total). I never got the achievement for finding 50, nor the one for 100. My tracker said I collected only 48. I loaded up my single player save by chapter selecting Chapter 1, and immediately, my 50 blueprint achievement (Engineer) unlocked. The tracker then showed 51%. I then tried various methods to no avail, but I discovered that if you keep loading up chapters through Chapter Select (I recommend doing this after you beat the game so you don't lose story progress), the tracker will keep increasing. It doesn't matter which chapters you choose, any will work. Everytime I loaded a chapter, it would increase between 4 and 8%. I did this until it finally unlocked upon my last load when I was at 99% and did one last chapter select. I really hope this helps! "
Let me know if this works for you guys too; If it does I'll keep the solution up - If not I'll remove it.

Well, this achievement popped for me, which is good, but my Weapons Blueprint tracker says I've only collected 94/105. I've driven all over the city looking for Blueprint icons to pop up on the map. I've reloaded every chapter from Chapter Select as well, but no blueprint icons show up and the counter is always stuck at 94/105. Is this a glitch, or are there hidden blueprints out there that I need to track down?

This was the trick nice one. It gets messed up if you join someone else's game and get collectibles. I only joined someone else once the rest of the time I was joined. So the chapter I joined someone else on I loaded in single player and before the level even completely loaded achievement unlocked.

You need to get 100 Blueprints for this.
They are collected mainly from picking them up but some of them are given to you from doing missions.
Here are some screenshots from the Official Strategy Guide that show where all the blueprints are found.
I did not take these pictures, I just thought I would share them.

Not sure, I think it is just a Typo. I got the achievement for building them all with only 10.

Walkthrough with all the collectives of the game: blueprints, books, tragic endings, ZDC speakers
and Frank West Statues. At the begining of the video I speak Spanish, but the rest of the video
it's just the game sound. Everything is perfectly indicated and numbered in English, as well as in Spanish.
In addition there is the timeline of the video below with shortcuts to all collectibles.
I hope It's usefull. Greets

As surprising as this may seem I'm actually totally new to the DR scene and this is the first copy of the series I picked up with my One (yes I've heard I'm by no means doing the series the justice it deserves). Anyways, I'm not sure whether or not I have quite a bit of time remaining or not with about 4 days and 21 hrs just starting chapter 3 or if I'm behind quite a bit. Thus, I was curious to know if I wasn't able to get around to collecting all the blueprints, tragic endings, etc in this one playthrough if I started another game after completing my current one if only the remaining collectibles I need would be there or not. Additionally, is it possible to just run through the story and do the side missions specific to each chapter then run back before the end of chapter 7 and collect all the "collectables" and do it that way? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

Luckily for you and I, there is no real need for a collectible guide as once you obtain the first tier of the Smart skill, all of the blueprints will be shown on your in-game map. There are over 100 blueprints within the game, but you will need all of the weapon blueprints in order to obtain Duct Tape Master. The blueprints will come naturally through story progression and by retrieving them from the environment, so pick them up whenever you see them nearby in order to cut down on the amount of running around you'll need to do later.

These drawings are marked on the map in the form of a gear. Some of them will be available as the story progresses.
PS Personally, I had a glitch, I collected 89 blueprints and when I restarted the chapter they gave me an achievement, so don’t be surprised if they give it to you earlier
PS Next to the drawings there are always things for assembling this combo weapon, it is better to collect them right away to achieve Duct Tape Genius
