Just a couple tips:
Best characters to use to get around on foot are either Mecha Zangief or Zombie Frank. They can plow through crowds with their dash moves, and their Y attacks can clear the way easily as well.
during Case 5, when you investigate the small room in the compound, one of the clues says, "fine art is so 1995". In the original game, there was a Christmas wreath you had to remove to solve the clue. In this mode, in order to solve the clue, you have to SHOOT the painting above the sofa. I thought my game was glitched until I did that.
For the boss fights against Tom and the female mercenary...use Dante for Tom and Sissel for the girl if you have him unlocked. Sissel can pretty much destroy her since she won't be able to touch you if you constantly melee her.
Also, the final battle of the game.....just use Sissel. He is untouchable when using his attacks. Just run up to the boss and melee him to death. He'll never be able to hit you.
other than that, if you've played the campaign before, its the same as you remember. Super quick now that you don't have to worry about side quests and maniacs.

You can choose Case Select at the menu and mop up everything after you finish the story. I got my last 3 costumes and finished my remaining trials post game.

Edit: not from my latest run through
Also for the section in case 5 where you're running from Calder, use Zombie Frank. Fast and his dodge wont get stopped in a crowd of zombies.

Case 5 during this DLC is infamous across all versions to cause crashes either during the gauntlet-run or the cutscene at the end.
For me it always crashed when either the cutscene started playing or when I skipped it.
There's a lot of hocus-pocus and voodoo magic tricks floating around, but really the only solution is to keep trying over and over again until you get lucky.
I let the cutscene play out when I was finally able to continue.

Same happen to me I spend 6 hours trying to beat this mode and it keeps crashing. No matter what I do. I give up.

I can't get past the end of case 5 glitch, game crashes for me at the end of the final cutscene every single time. Tried the final run dozens of times, tried clearing cache, replaying the entire chapter, reinstalling the game, playing other game modes between tries, but nothing works. This has locked me out of the last 3 achievements for this mode worth 200 gamerscore and 1500 TA score - even though it still unlocked Jill Valentine as the end of case 5 reward so I was able to get her cheevo - so after I put almost 100 hours into it fuck this game and the developers.
