How to unlock the Fashionista achievement in Dead Rising 4 - Definitive Guide

While it may sound like a lot of clothing items, there are well over 300 clothing items at launch to collect. This particular goal may take a few hours and is best done during just regular play.

-Search in every story or building you visit and try on all the clothes. Every item counts whether that's shirts, shoes or glasses.
-You might be able to get this entirely within the mall, that's where I found the majority of my wardrobe as many clothing stores have between 3-7 different items of clothing.
-You can check how many clothing items you have at the full mirrors located everywhere in the world, they're not rare.

I've included a map of Willamette Mall below to help find clothing stores and the full map of Willamette below that. Both are in 4k, so you can click them for a full screen version to look around on. A thanks to Gamerheadquarters for the lovely maps.

Scattered throughout Willamette will be items of interest covered with cosmetic icons (cap, full suit, shirt, pants, boots, glasses) that are going to be labeled as Clothing Items. The best place to find these articles would be, obviously, clothing stores which are more obvious by their T-Shirt legend icons on the map and can be found more frequently in the mall. Should you have the scrap, you can buy full outfits in the safehouses from the Clothing Vendors (which can be anywhere from one to five pieces a piece).

Outside of the mall, you can find clothing pieces hanging up on hangers on the wall, shoes littering the floor, or pilfer from dryers outfits. All of the pieces can be accessed through mirrors or clothing stalls and if you're wanting to just get credit for the piece, press Circle to wear it, wiggle and try to move to stop the animation short and then press Circle again to remove that and return to your previous attire (there are some instances that this may not be true, as for me when I wore and removed the Cupid outfit it gave me Dark Mecha Zangief).

Self-explanatory. They must be different items, i.e. you can’t just try on the same pair of pants over and over. You can keep track of what you’ve unlocked by going to any mirror in any safe house. There are well over 100 clothing items in the game, so this should come fairly easily.
