How to unlock the Up to Snuff achievement in Dead Rising 4 - Definitive Guide

This should be self explained but for everyone ( like me ) who is wondering when he/she beats the course with better than par and the cheevy wont pop up then you should know that DOESNT work.

You have to achieve a par on EVERY Hole of the course - ( 3/3/3/3 for example if the par on every hole is 3!- Not 3/2/3/4 or some like this )

I cannot confirm that. I just got the achievement and didn't finish each one with a par. The end result is important. The first course requires exactly 12.

For me it doesnt work.. like i wrote. i played enough matches and it doesnt worked when i had different results on every Hole. and yes- i wrote it that you have to play the result of a par- not better and not worse but not with different results

I got the achievement for par on a course on the Pirate's Refuge course while getting a hole in one on the first hole, a par, a birdie, then a 6 (3 over par), which landed me 13/13. I got the achievement. You do not need to par every hole.

I also can confirm that you do not need to par every hole.

Not sure how you guys got it without it being par on each hole however I can confirm that when I did it I got it with pars being met on each hole. I tried various other ways and I may have missed something but I didn't get it to unlock. I chose Golden Apple vineyards for this as its very easy and not too many outlandish obstacles like some of the others. When the result screen had me at 17/17 for this course it unlocked and that was only possible by me getting par on every hole.

I played today and it isn't necessary to par every hole, but the final result has to must be E or 0.

Agreed with the above comment, it needs to end with a par score. I've done a course that was -1,0,-1,0... so -2 in total with no hole being over par and no pop. But when I went -1, +2, -1, 0... so 0 in total it finally popped.

Another confirmation that contrary to the guide still saying you need to par every hole this isn't the case - you just need to achieve the exact par total for the 4 hole course.

I'd got a -1 total the first time I got par or better which didn't unlock the achievement. The next attempt thanks to a hole in one I got to the last hole well under par, I was still easily under when I got to the end and was left with a simple putt, so I deliberately missed a couple of shots which put me over par on the hole but ensured I finished the course exactly on par - achievement unlocked.

Also, upgrade your clubs - it makes a world of difference to your game and your scores.

The sum total on all your holes on a course must be at par or better. You can go over par on an individual hole, so long as your final total for the course is at or below the overall par. Golden Apple Vineyards is an easy one for this.
