DEAD RISING

This achievement is to fill up your notebook in the pause menu.

This can be done across multiple playthroughs in the same save file and you do not need to save every survivor, once they join your party (or you kill them) they’ll be added to your notebook.

This is by no means a detailed walkthrough but will help you find who you’re missing. If you’d like a detailed walkthrough on how to save everyone I recommend seeing the Saint achievement.

I found out you don't need to save em to get this achievement. I will throw out a few tips to making this a bit easier to get done. It is important you take pictures of every survivors at the very beginning of the game. Also, following the Carlito boss fight quickly finish the following story case. This will unlock one way you can get in the Entrance Plaza.

Thankfully even you do lose people. This is possibly a multiple playthrough achievement. Now my method to greatly speed things up. You only need to take pictures of those you are missing. Which also means no having to go out of your way to do something for them. It is possible to get multiple survivors in a single picture. You also need to face all the bosses across all playthrough attempts.

There's fifty survivors in the game you could save. There's thirteen psychopaths in the game you could face. Now Steven, Larry and Brock are story bosses. If you chose to not continue the story, you can still keep on playing. If you don't have Overtime Mode unlock. You need to get Ending A in 72 Hour Mode first. Doing so the first time automatically starts you in Overtime Mode.

Another important tip is sometimes you have too many survivors in the game at one time. You won't get another side mission until time on some of those side missions runs out or you kill em. Keep in mind, you have to be outside a particular side mission location for Otis to call letting Frank know about em. You can keep track through who you have in the Notebook.

You don't need to take pictures of cultists or soldiers for this achievements. Except for their leaders respectively. You automatically get an entry when activating Cletus' boss fight where he kills a man you entered that gun store with. My best tip is write down every time on every day to help narrow it down who you'll need.

I know this is a lot to take in. But I took my sweet time thinking how to make this much easier for people to do. This is surprisingly one of the easiest achievements in the game. As long you pay attention to whose on that list, you should be fine. Also, most bosses have hostages remember to defeat that boss before getting access to those survivors.
