How to unlock the Indoorsman achievement in Dead Rising - Definitive Guide
Indoorsman
I started a new game, walked into the Entrance plaza (where the first survivors are) and sat for 2 hours. The 24 hours needs to be consecutively indoors.
Note: The Xbox 360 version glitch does not seem to work as I attempted it, if anyone does figure out a way to make it work comment or PM me so I can update this guide but I did as follows:

Strategy One has a great guide, props that he saves us time against the now unusable glitch.
I'd like to offer a bit of advice, just for clarity, as well as how I got the cheevo to make it a little less strenuous :)
First, you can't really get ending A (all cases) going for this, but that DOESN'T mean you need to WASTE much time.
Second, "outdoorsman" essentially locks you to the helepad, anywhere else is too dangerous to leave you game running without you. INDOORSMAN, though, allows you to still travel, granted you don't set foot outside.
Third, The maintenance tunnel counts as indoors. The roof leading to the security room is OUTSIDE, so you WON'T be capable of saving survivors unless you like really long escorts.
With the above in mind, I;
1. Got Zombie Genocider. Nows an AMAZING time, takes roughly 3 real hours, great guides here on TA.
2. Following the "Karate Champ" guide (shout out to Xv iLeGenDzZ vX) I went to Seons. This took about ME 10 hours as Im just horrid at grappling.
3. By using the tunnels, you have enough time left (and FRANKly to burn) to go for Clothes Horse or Food Gourmet.
Sadly I had both, so I let my game sit on top of a shelf at Seons, though seeing as how ZeeGen REQUIRES an ending to unlock the mega blaster, this is the PERFECT time to get "indoorsman" done :)
Happy hunting (>*_*)>

You can do this in the security room by going afk for approx. 4 real life hours and you will get this unharmed. This might be achievable whilst playing the game normally but it will mean you'll need to avoid Leisure Park and the Helipad. Leisure Park is a pretty good shortcut to get to places around the mall, but its certainly possible to get everywhere without going outside.
A good place to idle for 24 hours in game time, indoors, is above Kids Choice Clothing right when you first enter Paradise Plaza. From the silver door, go forward, staying on the right side. You will see the first set of stairs, jump up from first set of stairs to blue area above and you'll be fine. After 24 hours in game time (check watch) left on d pad, trophy will pop. Note: plug in controller so it doesn't turn off.
Start a game and go right into the security room. Stay put for 2 hours REAL time (24 hour in game time) to get this achievement. A good thing to do here is to scotch tape your control stick forward having Frank run in a corner to help with your "Marathon Runner" achievement.
