How to unlock the Skewered in Space achievement in Dead Space 2 - Definitive Guide

The first time u can do this is on Chapter 3, the room looks like this:

good tip from Aesiwatt:
if you have the javeline gun, use this, if you like me and did not had it at this point in the game read below

take a sharp object, (if there isnt one on the ground just destroy the window to your right) with kinesis
go a step closer to the decompression window to let the enemys spawn and throw it on the necro which is running stright to you.
with a bit of luck he gets impaled through the window.

if you dont get it on first try reload last checkpoint its right before the room.

+1 on the hitting the baby instead of the slasher. Playing on Normal difficulty, I was never able to get the slasher to fly far enough to hit the window. The baby necromorph flew like a punted football, though.

I still haven't gotten this achievement it seems like every time i hit the slasher with the spike it ends up pinning it to the floor. Or somehow I'll miss the necromorph.

This achiv is kinda bullshit. Im shooting the same guy as in the vid, and every time he gets impaled to the floor. no matter what angle or distance I try

If any one has the same problem as me, try using stasis on the slasher and then shooting him with the javelin gun. Shot him two times and the second time he went through the window

There's another point in Chapter 4 you can get this achievement.
In the indoctrination room of the church of unitology where you need to replace the power cells to start up the malfunctioning door (the one you need to slow with stasis), there's a pointed stick in the corner nearest the window in the malfunctioning door room. Put it somewhere accessible because once you place the fuse and walk through into that room, three necromorphs will drops down from the left, right, then middle. I'd suggest waiting for the middle one.

Your first chance to do this occurs in Chapter 3, right after dismembering the Lightspeed Boy Statue above. Take the Elevator up to the Unitology front desk. After turning the corner, you will see the decompression window at the end of the hallway. There is a spike on the ground, pick it up and proceed down the corridor. Four necromorphs will attack you. Kinesis launch the spike into one of the necromorphs so that it crashes through the window. Doing this will cause the other necromorphs to get sucked out as well as you in the process. You need to shoot the red triangle at the top of the window to close the door and prevent your death.

This is basically the same as Vacuum Cleaner trophy above, only you're supposed to impale the enemy on a Decompression Window and he gets sucked into space immediately. One of the best places to do this is in Chapter 3, as you enter the Unitology Recruitment Center. A group of necromorphs will spawn infront of you and all you need to do is pickup a pole on the ground and impale any on of them on the wall at the far side. Remember to shoot the triangle icon to shut the hatch and save yourself from the same fate.

Similar to the one described above, but you need to nail it to the decompression window. Be careful not to get sucked in!

I succeeded with an already dead necromorph. First I shot at it, it flew to the window but didn’t break it. He waited a bit, fired again, the window shattered, the trophy fell out
