Dead Space 2

If you've played this game, you know that dismembering necromorphs (also known as "enemies") is pretty much the whole game, and the best way to kill the bad guys. Remove 25 limbs and this achievement pops.

Interesting fact: If you stomp (RB) or melee (RT) dead necromorphs, those dismemberments count, too. It has to be necromorphs, though -- don't go stomping dead human corpses expecting it to count.

You can track your progress in the Start menu, under "Achievements".

Repeat 100 times and you'll get this:

Just kill about 25 Necromorphs. Once you kill them, at least one of their body parts are going to be sperated from the rest of their body and that's what the achievement means by "dismember." If could make a sugguestion... I would perfer using a Plasma Cutter, Plasma Gun, or Line Gun because these seem to dismember Necromorphs faster and easier.

Also, if you shoot the leg off and stomp on the body of a Necromorph, you will dismember more limbs for one Necromorph AND if you keep doing this you will be able to get two more achievements:

...And Stay Down

You should get this achievement shortly after getting the plasma cutter. Simply shoot the arms and legs of Necromorphs and before the end of chapter 1 you should have your achievement.
