How to unlock the The Librarian achievement in Dead Space 2 - Definitive Guide

Jack and Geoff from achievement hunters are going to show us where all the logs and Schematics for all the levels in dead space 2.
In dead space 2 their are over 100 logs through out the game and if you buy dead space:ignition(which is a prequel to dead space 2) you unlock rooms that have more logs that you couldn't with out this XBL arcade game for 400 MS points

(before you give me a "thumbs down" on this or any other solution. Tell what I can do to fix it)

The total varies depending if you bough the dead space arcade game "dead space ignition". Their are over 100 logs you find and get through natural progression of the game even without the arcade game. So as long you follow this guide you'll be able to get this achievement.

I gave a negative because literally ALL you did was link some videos...You could at least give an overview of how many are in each chapter or something to that effect,at least add something to it.

you have to collect at least 100 logs. Even Jack and Geoff don't how many their are in the game not including the if you bought and beat deadspace: ignition

I had to down vote as this doesn't provide much helpful information. Namely, I came wondering if

1.) All 100 have to be found in 1 play through and
2.) How many there are total, i.e. how much leeway I have.

If you can answer those two questions I would happily change my vote to a thumbs up!

Collectible logs will appear with a bright white glow. As you progress through the game, you will recieve many of these logs automatically in the form of a blue audio bar or video appearing in front of Isaac. Other logs you will practically stumble over as you follow the main path. Very few logs are hidden from plain sight and as such you shouldn't need a guide for this. However, for all of you completionists out there, click HERE.

Logs are acquired automatically throughout many dialogue transmissions between you and other plot characters, as well as picking up Audio and Text Logs that add more to the backstory of the game. I achieved this in Chapter 11 after passing through space. See the Collectible Guide for help.

here it’s generally easy to collect all the records without a guide without suffering, there are more than 100 of them in the game and they are also not very well hidden. Personally, I collected them in the first playthrough on chapter 10, they already gave me a trophy
