Master Plan

Master Plan

Create a Blueprint that needs at least 2000 resources worth of parts and Circuits to build.

How to unlock the Master Plan achievement in Dead Space 3 - Definitive Guide

This one can be misunderstood, at least it was by me. In order to create a blueprint requiring 2000 resources, you don't actually need to CRAFT a weapon from the blueprints list. Instead, take the weapon that you got "Full House" on. Now, when you go to the craft screen on that weapon, simply hit "Y", and it will create a blueprint that will be put in your blue prints list to share and what not. Quite simple, and best to be stacked with Full House.

EDIT: It seems that if you have the pre-order weapons, you can simply throw a couple of circuits on the Evangelizer, and that will be enough to net you the achievement. Thanks for the heads up BqCaduceusMD!

Just a note, you can get this PRIOR to the Full House achievement. I was using the Evangelizer for FH and I equipped 2 upgrade circuits to it. With all of the other attachments it came with, creating a blueprint with the two circuits equipped was enough to net me the achievement.

Thanks for the help, both of you. :) I crafted a spendy blueprint and didn't get the achievement and was afraid it was glitched. I didn't realize it meant turn a weapon INTO a blueprint. Thanks for clarification.

The Planet Cracker you get from having a DS2 save (not sure if you need a completed game or not) will also work.
I did it simply so that I didn't accidentally ruin it (there's a glitch with the rotary cuff, if you take it off you can't put it back on).

Didn't even know this was an achievement until I made a blueprint for it.

Got this by just adding stuff here and there not really trying while going for another achievement in co op.

I don't really understand the weapon crafting, how to add/use attachments etc.. My weapons are kinda weak, but I did upgrade the damage, reload, fire rate etc...

Each weapon part will have a number of resources. You can put these into a calculator and find the total if you need to. Fill up all of the attachments, circuits and tips. If you fill everything, you get the Full House achievement. Over the course of the game, you'll gain a lot of items if you pick up everything from the enemies. If you have enough resources, you can craft pretty much anything you want. Use resource bots to get packs of supplies which are useful in a variety of different areas. If you deploy them to 15 resource areas, where the screen has a blue circle, you'll get the Metal Detector achievement. There's also a guide for that achievement if you want it. With your resources gathered, either go for the Full House achievement or just build a weapon with a lot of resources put into it. If you already have the Full House achievement, the weapon you used to get it will probably have enough resources for the Master Plan achievement. You'll get the achievement once you create a blueprint for this weapon, which can be done by selecting it and pressing cn_Y.

After you’ve fulfilled the conditions of crafting a weapon for Full House, press triangle at the weapon customization screen to create a blueprint of it. This’ll unlock the trophy and you can share the blueprint with your Co-op partner as well.

When you finally decide on the weapon with which you will play the game, and also completely improve it, go to the weapon creation menu, select your gun and press

For those who have the Limited Edition, make a drawing of one of the weapons from the extra and the trophy is yours)

For those who like to get trophies early, here is the fastest way to get this trophy:

  • when you come across the first workbench for improvements (chapter 2), you will already have 2 weapons + a certain amount of resources, and then:
  • go to the workbench
  • disassemble one weapon
  • improve other weapons from the received components + buy the missing ones (spending resources to the maximum - we need the drawing to cost 2000+, do not forget to insert the chain into your project)
  • Click and thus the drawing of this “miracle” will be preserved =)
  • wait for the coveted trophy "ding"
  • press START on the gamepad and select "Checkpoint". You will load in the same room where the first workbench is, BUT! the components are intact, and you have already taken the trophy.
PS the same principle applies to the trophies Circuit's Edge / Circuit Advantages , EMT / Orderly , Strapped / Create an Attachment , Full House / Full Set , RIG Master / Master ICS

Of course, there are other ways, but while there are no other tips, I’ll write my own.

Here's what I did:

- Attachment 1: Stasis Support

- Top block: Small arms

- Bottom block: Hydraulic weapon

- Bed: Heavy standard bed

- Upper block variator: Conical diffuser

- Lower block variator: Standard variator

- Nozzle 2: (Not selected)

- 4 circuits

After all this you need to click (create a drawing) and that’s it
