You can get this solo if you complete the 7 optional missions in Classic mode.

Not a guide, but this achievement can be earned solo, on classic mode. Classic doesn't count the co-op missions, or even show them in the progress/unlocks screen.

Edit: I can confirm that this cannot be earned in standard mode, as I did all available missions solo. Also it looks like collectibles are different by a little bit for classic mode, but since I haven't collected them all, I can't confirm if the collectible achievements are attainable in classic. And the collectibles do not carry over save files. For example, you can't get half in your first playthrough and get the rest on classic mode. All collectibles must be found on one save file.

Edit 2: The only optional mission that's not really pointed out to you is the one in Chapter 17. I forget the name of it, but you find it in a corridor near one of the first alien word doors after fighting a few alien necromorphs in a cave full of red markers.

And what about the logs/artifacts collectible achievements? Is it possible to unlock them without collecting the stuff from coop-only missions on classic mode?

Nice to know about Classic mode. Doesn't affect me, as I need the co-op achievements anyway, so makes no difference where I do them.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to list the optional missions and which chapter you get them in?

It would be, if this was an actual guide. Besides, none of them are hard to find or really out of the way.

I can confirm you CAN get this on standard mode. I haven't played Classic and just got the achievement after finishing the mission on Chapter 17. Also I'm really not sure why people are mentioning collectibles here, this has nothing to do with the side quest achievement.

Collectibles mentioned only because I was asked. Fully aware this is NOT the place for it.

I thumbed up this solution. Not so much because I needed help with it but because I unlocked it and wondered if anyone had this same 'glitch'.

Good point made by Axel....do the co-op collectibles show in the Classic unlock screen.

However, also poses the question, does this pop if you do all solo ones without doing co-op ones anyway?

Yeah, I'm curious too. Do the collectibles count throughout all playthroughs?

When I get around to doing co-op does it have to be on my save or run that has the rest of the collectibles? not really sure how this works.

Online Trophy. There are a total of 7 Optional Missions that can be completed in Single Player or Co-op mode, and 3 Co-op Missions that must be played with 2 players. The Online Pass is required to play the game in Co-op mode. You can either work on this as you play, or return and complete them using chapter select at any time.

In Co-op mode, it does not matter if you’re playing as Isaac (host) or Carver (guest) as you will be credited for completing the mission as either character.

Chapter 4 - Optional Mission: CMS Greely, Co-op Mission: CMS Brusilov
Chapter 5 - Optional Mission: Conning Tower
Chapter 9 - Optional Mission: Supply Depot
Chapter 11 – Optional Mission: Armory, Co-op Mission: Archeology
Chapter 14 – Optional Mission: Disposal Services, Optional Mission: Reaper Barracks, Co-op Mission: Marker Containment
Chapter 17 - Optional Mission: Artifact Storage

Bonus missions will appear throughout the game. The doors for them are sealed with access cards. At the end of each of them, a generous box with modules and other goodies awaits you. The good people from Visceral games are very “kind” this time. The fact is that the game has become many times more difficult, the waves of enemies are longer and more varied. One error and a red screen. This was especially reflected in bonus missions. Passing them on something more difficult than normal is a purely masochistic thing. There are literally TONS of enemies. I went through it on a zealot, it frayed my nerves, I don’t recommend this to anyone It’s better to go through it on normal, and then do whatever you want, that’s the only advice. Hardcore mode is still ahead, bida

IMPORTANT! To get the trophy you need to complete the co-op bonus mission. However, you can cheat, if you can’t wait to get the trophy right away, go through the regular bonus missions while playing the game in classic mode.
