How to unlock the Aliens achievement in Dead Space 3 - Definitive Guide

I've made a video series for all 257 collectibles in the game. They are listed in chronological order, and show as much detail for every collectible without wasting your time. Commentary is also provided for further clarification.

Note: The Collectibles can be quite confusing. For example, you can find collectibles during Chapter 3 & Chapter 7, but they will count towards Chapter 4, so you may want to keep these in mind, and take a look at your in-game progress every now and again. If you do follow the videos though, you will not encounter any problems.

DLC Note: If you've played the "Awakened" DLC, you will need to attain any collectibles in those levels to be able to unlock this achievement. For a DLC collectibles walkthrough, go HERE.

If you missed some during the game can you go back and get them? Or do you need to replay the entire game and collect them all over again?

This is a good set of videos, but if i may make a suggestion: instead of displaying the item/number/location description and then clearing the screen, leave the item and location up for the entirety of that section of video. It helps when searching for a specific item, especially since Youtube brings up those handy little screenshots as you scroll.

Also, Awakening adds several more items that must be collected for the various achievements if they were not collected before downloading the DLC.

The above guides are great - a positive with this one is that of all the collectible achievements, this is the only one that you can get whilst playing single player. All the others (audio logs, circuits) need you to play the Co-op joint missions.

There are a total of 10 Alien Artifacts in the game. You need to collect all of them in a single save file, which then unlocks some circuits only for that particular save file. Collectibles can be picked up by any player and it will register for both players. Please refer to the Collectible Guide for the locations of the artifacts.

For this achievement, a partner is not required; you only need to collect alien artifacts that are located on the planet Tau Volantis.

Alien artifacts are collected without online. They are not in Coop mission.

Everything can be found in co-op missions; today my partner and I unlocked this achievement.
