How to unlock the Medic! achievement in Dead Space 3 - Definitive Guide
Hello TA!
The simplest way is to build a completely new weapon with "Heavy Elite Frame" as frame, "Surveyor Charge" as Upper Tool and "Directed Ejection Field" as Upper Tool Tip.
Upper tool tip is important because you want to not go into pieces when you shoot your partner.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT use safety guard! It makes this method impossible to use!
I played on Casual difficulty, because you don't get gibbed as easily. I also did this after completing the game.
Trick is this: Have your co-op buddy stand infront of you and shoot his mine launcher into your face or shoulder, maybe a bit over you. All that matters is that his gun points at you. This should bring him to low health at first and on the second shot bring him down. Then mash A asap and have your buddy shoot you again. He'll go down in a single shot even if you have an fully upgraded RIG and therefore this is the easiest solution.
Team damage isn't enabled in the game either, so no danger to the guy who gets the achievement.
I went to the start of Chapter 4 because there are no obstructions at all and as a bonus there is a bench next to you. It took me a single minute to get the achievement, so it is far faster and less risky than getting slashed by necromorphs :)
I have attached an image of the weapon used. I also underlined the most important parts with red. Once again: NO SAFETY GUARD ATTACHMENT!
Your secondary weapon doesn't matter.
Have fun getting downed!

The best way to do this is in the video im gunna attach. Load up the prologue and when two enemies turn up, kill the first one and let the other one down your partner, rinse and repeat.

It worked well for me and a friend just running past them while they are downed and just mashing the a button as you go past, but this is a good point as well :-)

This worked quite well. However, a couple things to note:
- It helps to take the legs out from under the remaining enemy and slow him down.
- After downing you partner, the enemy will continue to attack 2 or 3 more times before moving on to you. These attacks will hurt you if you are close enough.

When your coop partner goes down, they will call to you. Walk up next to them and hit A to revive them. A very good place to get this is in the coop mission CSM Brusilov. After finding the marker and going down the elevator, as soon as you exit there will be a single necromorph. Take his legs off so he is a crawler. Now, to the left of where you exited the elevator, there is a little spot where you are going to get this. The person who is reviving, stand back in that little corner, and the person who is getting downed will block the necromorph by standing in front of their partner. Simply hit A whenever the one goes down, and when you get the achievement, simply swap spots, and kill the thing when you are done.
If you don't have the ressources to build the suggested weapons in the other guides there is another quick way to get this done by starting the first coop-mission called "CSM Brusilov" on Casual-difficulty. To be precise, you don't even start it, you position yourselves on the platform before the door where the mission starts. There will be a big enemy who consistently shoots 4 exploding shells at you.
You get the idea: One player gets shot by the shells, the other one revives him. The reviving player has to stand between the other player and the door to not get hit himself.

If you have a friend or partner who you can easily instruct or cooperate with, then the other guides have tips on how you can set up an easy way to unlock this achievement. If you don't, you can still do with with someone else online. I would recommend the Hard or Impossible difficulty. Search for matches with those specific difficulties and set revives to "on". If someone has the Devil's Hand then you may not be able to grind this achievement since they can instantaneously take out any enemies. If you have trouble finding matches using the difficulty selector, then try setting everything to "any" except for the revives, which should be set to on. Another thing that works is searching for any game with revives that's currently in the lobby and hasn't started yet. This is what worked for me. I did this successfully with someone starting Chapter 1 on Impossible. We played up to Chapter 4, where I unlocked the achievement.
Once you get into a match you can start performing revives. When your co-op partner is damaged enough they'll kneel down on the ground, except during executions or other highly damaging attacks that kill them. Their circular location icon will be grey, and this can be used to locate them. Once you approach them you need to use to revive them. Try to weave away from necromorphs using figure eights and other patterns to make sure they're focusing on your partner. Staying out of their field of vision or maintaining a larger distance also helps you do this. When your partner is revived they regenerate little health unless they themselves use a med pack. This makes it easy for the necromorphs that downed them to do it again, allowing you to get multiple revives during one attack.
You can check your progress by pausing, if your host or partner allows it and going to achievements. Progress is saved at checkpoints. If you die before reaching a checkpoint, your progress resets. To prevent losing progress if you haven't reached a checkpoint yet, stop attempting to pursue revival opportunities when you're running out of health bars. Also take a break from your rescue attempts if you need to heal up, as once your rig's health bar is nearly depleted, just one or two hits may down you. Look out for med packs, which are commonly dropped by slain necromorphs. If they're far away, use Kinesis to pick them up. If you have a lot of med packs or health, then it may be worth rapidly trying to revive your partner or just continuing to do so without killing too many necromorphs. Another good strategy posted by other guides is putting yourself in a small space so that your partner blocks attacks, which may allow you to unlock this achievement during one attack. Once you reach 10 revivals you'll unlock this achievement.

Online Trophy. This can only be done in the Co-Op Campaign. The host must set the Co-Op Partner Revive setting to ON. Whenever your partner is down to zero health, revive them by pressing .
You can do this in the First Chapter at the very start. When you shoot the door and open it 2 guys will come out, kill one and blow the legs off the other guy. Let the crawling guy put down your partner 10 times to get the trophy, just run around or lure him away to then go and heal your partner. Once one of you gets this switch up and repeat so you both can it. VERY EASY and QUICK way to do this.

so that the player can be resurrected, it is necessary for the enemy to finish him off with a regular blow, then we run up and hammer a cross, if the enemy “strangles” the player in CT - gameover
repeat until

A quick pick-up spot for both partners. Chapter 4, bonus mission "Grizzly" in it you will come across an electric generator emitting electric discharges (DO NOT pull anything out of it). One partner very slowly approaches (if the second one runs in, it will not be possible to revive him) to the discharges that will kill him. The second partner stands nearby and spams the revive button, after one of the partners receives the trophy, switch places.

You can start it up in any airless space, start up the partner does not replenish the supply of oxygen, after which he will fall on his knees, push him up and press X, repeat 10 times.
