How to unlock the Kickin it achievement in Dead Space - Definitive Guide

Upgrade your armor to the max amount of HP you can get, get a few medic packs and then go on the hunt for Lurkers. They look like little babies who have 3 little tentacles that come out of their back. Run up next to them and let them lunge and attack you. They should start stabbing your back/neck. Quickly tap A and get them off of you. Repeat 9 times.

Missable! Lurkers look like little balls and can be easily identified by the three tentacles they have with spikes on the end. For a Lurker to grab hold of Isaac you must run up close to one and wait until it leaps onto him. Once the Lurker is attached, immediately tap the button until Isaac grabs the Lurker and kicks it to death. Take note that no matter how quickly you press , Isaac will always lose some health so make sure that you have a health pack or two in your inventory.

The earliest chapter you come in contact with Lurkers is Chapter 2. There are around 4-5 Lurkers in Chapter 2. If you escape from all of the Lurkers' grab attacks in Chapter 2 then you can get this trophy as early as Chapter 3, as there are around 6-7 Lurkers in Chapter 3.

Lerkers are the “children” of Necromorphs; they run along walls and have three tentacles on their backs with which they will try to “swaddle” you. Get close to them so they can catch you, when it happens press quickly to throw them off. The faster you press the less lives you lose, repeat this 10 times and get a trophy.

I would like to add that the trophy is cumulative and all kicked children are transferred to the next round.

To what was said above, I would like to add that they will give you a trophy if you managed to throw the kids off of you, provided that they did not manage to hit you even once (at least it was like that for me. I killed about 20 of them before it dawned on me) as soon as they attacked , instantly start pressing the button, they won’t have time to hit.

Death does not reset the counter. Unfortunately, I deleted the saves from 16th year. And he began to go through with the cutter on the lung. By the third chapter, I killed all the little ones just like that and the trophy fell out.

As "ACh" wrote, it's not true. The trophy is not cumulative. I tried to get it in chapter 4 in the place where you can get the “puppeteer” trophy, but it didn’t come up. It turns out that you can only get it by following the plot and deliberately letting them take over you.

We go through the game on an easy difficulty level (it’s best if this is the second playthrough, but in pursuit of platinum you will still have to go through it a second time). So, if you have a second playthrough, then you will have the 6th suit (well, or the 5th, depending on how you managed your finances). As soon as you get into the laboratory and meet the kids, don’t shoot at them, come closer, the bastard will jump off and rush at you (a scene will appear where you need to quickly press “X”), Aizik will throw the monster off of him, and he will die. And so on at every meeting with these kids until they receive the trophy. At the same time, a little life will be taken away from you (because of this, it is better to get the trophy on the second playthrough, since the damage will be quite insignificant).

What NEHAY_I_R wrote is bullshit. The lerker will hit at least once in any case and depending on the speed of pressing Azik can throw off the lerker before the baby hits him again and takes away valuable health.

And yet, for a long time I could not get the trophy, following the scheme: before the first meeting with the lerker, I saved, approached the lerker, he grabbed me, I threw him off and reloaded the save. I repeated it 25 times, but there was no trophy. After that, I just started playing according to the plot and throwing off lerkers in the same way. And I got the trophy very easily.

A very important point!
In order for the lerker to grab you in the subsequent QTE scene, you need to stand with your back to him. In the event of a head-on confrontation, he will either attack you from a distance or run away.

Wrong. The lerker quite willingly attacks the player with a subsequent QTE scene from both front and back equally.

I confirm that it is not necessary to stand with your back or side, these nimble creatures rush in any situation.
