A good way to quickly fill Daru was described by player Andrey7234i in a hint for a similar achievement on xbox, for which thanks to him. I will give a slightly refined and expanded method.

You need to play ranked Survival alone (Tourist difficulty). Select the Pyramid card. On this map, 8 Darus are in a “sleeping” state, walled up in roots on the walls (generally speaking, there are 9 such Darus here, but one is not suitable for our method). First of all, I recommend running around the map and studying it. You can kill enemies here by lighting them up to a “hot” state and finishing off with a machete (circle), spend ammo only on Dara. There are 3 ammo spawn locations on the map; they change randomly throughout the game. There is also a weapon vault that opens at the end of the wave.

The task is to shoot Daru's heart sticking out from behind the roots while they are walled up in the roots on the wall. This is not entirely easy to do, because... for each of the 8 Daru there is a certain range of angles at which this can actually be done. To kill Dar, you need 2-3 clips of a machine gun, and initially there are 2 clips in the weapon. I advise you to watch the video at what angle to shoot hearts (for which thanks to the player Chris Hirschy), over time you will figure it out, and you won’t have any big problems with it.

The problem will remain the constant need to kill small enemies, so I recommend not finishing the 1st wave, but leaving one mummy (there is no counter, so be careful).

In most cases, you will respawn on the bridge or behind the bridge. Run left down the stairs and left again and shoot the heart while the start of the game is reported. Here everything should just be enough for a little more than 1.5 clips. Don't forget to take the gold figurines that drop from Daru, you will need them!!! Next you need to spawn cartridges, wait and run for cartridges, simultaneously highlighting and killing mummies. The next Daru depends on the ammo respawn - if the ammo respawn is at the top, then opposite this ammo respawn there is a Daru down the stairs, shoot the clip into the heart, circle around the statue and again for the ammo, kill a few mummies and shoot the heart again, repeat until killed. If the cartridges are below in the center, then shoot at Daru to the left of the cartridge spawn, release the clip, then circle around the column with the stone, take out the mummies, another clip in the heart, etc. If the cartridges are below in a distant location, then the same Daru , but you will have to tinker longer (unfortunate situation). As you already understood, the main thing here is not to stop for long, otherwise you will be pinned in a corner and will not be able to get out.

By this point the wave will end, don't forget to leave one mummy. Continue killing Dara and running for ammo, just don’t run up the side stairs to the 2nd floor, so as not to kill the mummy with autotraps (you’ll be on the map and you’ll figure out where it is). You need to kill 4 Daru - to the left of the bridge down the stairs, opposite from the ammo spawn on the 2nd floor, to the left of the ammo spawn at the bottom in the center, and the 4th Daru to the right of the bridge down the stairs. You can choose the sequence yourself, it depends on the player’s respawn, ammo respawn, influx of enemies, etc.

As soon as you kill the 4th, you will be one unit short of the “Devastation” reward (transformation into a kind of Juggernaut, for which we collected golden figurines). For passing the wave you will be given a golden figurine (automatically). Finish off the abandoned mummy and the reward will be available. Run to the nearest Gift, there are 4 of them left, all approximately along the same wall, and turn on the reward (to the left on the cross). They will give you a machine gun, and it won’t be difficult to shoot the hearts of 4 Daru, especially since you will be alone in the respite between waves. Then run to kill yourself on the nearest trap.
After a little training, the whole process takes 3.5-5 minutes, depending on the spawn of cartridges and the accuracy of choosing a position for shooting hearts.

Alternatively, you can reach the end of the 2nd wave by doing the same steps, this way you will move faster towards the trophy for completing 100 waves. Entering 2 waves takes 6-6.5 minutes. To simultaneously get a trophy for 500 Daru and 100 waves, you need to go 38 times for 2 waves and 25 times for 1 wave, killing 8 Daru per run.

A very tedious and long trophy! Daru is a creature with a red heart in its chest (it grows on vines). These types appear randomly. If you play for fun, you can knock out 50 - 80 hours.
