Use a class with a bludgeoning weapon, such as the mace for the Knight. Then just swing away at the head of opponents. If you do enough, you will get a Head Explosion with your kill. It seems more likely to happen on less armored enemies, such as Ninja and Pirate.

The achievement pops in the middle of a match.
