How to unlock the Goodbye stranger achievement in Deadlight: Director's Cut - Definitive Guide

It doesn't necessarily need to be a railing; it can be a little box or something that shadows can climb.
The best place to do it is in Act 2 Scene 10. Near the beginning you will find a shotgun. Climb the little box and continue to your right until some shadows break a door and run at you. Now get back over that little box and wait for them to climb it, then hit them with your axe until you push one of them over that box.

There are a few places this can be done, but a good opportunity is on Act 2, Scene 8 (Lydia).
You will obtain a fire axe in this scene. Once you do, break the lock and kill the first enemy you see. Continue past the other enemy without killing it. Now break the other door down and get the enemy over near the railing. Get on the left side of the enemy and push it until it falls over the railing.
