How to unlock the In the lobby comboin' your dudes achievement in Deadpool - Definitive Guide

Set the game on normal or hard (UltraViolence) mode, this will make enemies tougher but shouldn't affect your gameplay much with Deadpool's healing factor. Load the first level, group up a few enemies and remember to use your firearms, preferably pistols to keep moving between targets. Shouldn't take you just a few minutes to pop this. If you are having any trouble with this, purchase the Sai's for $80k , they are huge combo builders.

I can't seem to get it. I have already finished the game and upgraded my melee weapons and handguns so they are super powerful. Would it be best to clear the progress I made to go back to less powerful weapons?

I would recommend swapping to sai and shotgun and setting difficulty on veteran or ultra-violent for enemy health to go up.

Also, make sure you do not progress all the way to the elevators, once the elevators are shut down the achievement becomes locked.

I completed the game and levelled up. There aren't enough guys. I rounded them all up, used the Sai and Pistols Guntaka and can't get even a 30 combo on Ultra Violence mode. They just die in one hit. Going to have to clear my progress and leave this till last.

I've done this 3 times now one was a 59 combo one was a 46 and the other was a 52..... I've been having problems with achievements since I started the game the two freebie achievements when you first start the game I had to go back to get because they didn't unlock properly... really digging the game but this achievement problem is going to bother the piss outta me.

I got it on Ultra Violence difficulty using fully upgraded pistols and swords. Start with the pistols and run around firing from the hip... don't try to get headshots and don't kill all the enemies in the 1st room before going down the hall to the 2nd room or your combo counter will reset. Once pistols run out of ammo kill the last few with swords. My swords were fully upgraded too. So this is possible to get it with fully upgraded weapons. It might take a few tries if so just reset the checkpoint before the elevators lock and try again.

Hey guys, flubberfudge here

If you're like me and finished the game with all upgrades, and don't want to reset stats
There is still hope.
I made a quick video capture of how I did this, on the easiest difficulty with having all upgrades.
When you enter area run all the way to the back left but don't enter into the elevator room.
Group the guys up and flash the shit out of em. Get some distance and spray them with the shotty. Hope this helps you out with this annoying achievement

Did not work on Genetically Superior. Worked on Ultra Violent difficulty though. Very well. Thanks!

^^Why the hell would it count in the tutorial when it's clearly a level/area specific achievement? laugh

Good to know, only tested this out on the easiest difficulty and it worked both times I did it. Glad it worked for you

This achievement can be quite tricky as it represents the first serious fight you have in the game, when you will be rubbish, so you will likely miss it.

The trade off then is that by the time you come back to do it, you will probably be too powerful with upgrades such that whilst you are good at fighting and countering with B to string combos together, you will end up killing everyone before you get to 40.

What I did was finish as much as the game and achievements as I wanted, and then in settings reset all my upgrades. Warning - this does literally put you back to square one so beware!!

I then played on veteran, and ran around the lobby at the start to get everyone together (including 2 guys from the corridors where the elevators are, but I didn't go down them). You will then have enough enemies to fight and using just X and B to counter I got up to a x43 combo.

As you then approach the elevators, the achievement should unlock. Good luck!!

Chapter: Job One

This is also right at the start of the game, you will go through a short tutorial and do a bit of platforming through the sewers, you will enter a lobby and here you will have to get a x40 combo on the enemies in the lobby. The best way to do this is to switch between using the Sais and your guns to build up a high combo, you should barely be able to get it from the initial few waves of enemies. This trophy shouldn't be too much trouble but if you're in need of help then here's a video by TheGrimHimself:

This is "Job One" level. Simply get a combo of 40 or higher before they lock down the elevators. This is pretty simple, especially so after you've upgraded your skills some. The Sais are great for combos. You'll get a checkpoint if you kill all the enemies and the elevator locks down, so you'll have to restart the chapter if you progress to far without getting it, but this is near the beginning of the chapter, so it's not too far to trek to get back to it.

After you get out of the sewer by blowing up the hatch, 2 guards will attack you. When you kill one, 4 more will come running to you, and then 4 more. You can easily score a combo of 100 or more. I had 131.

PS Difficulty: Ultra-Violence!
