Must be misprint on description or coded incorrectly, as I unlocked this after using the bedroom key and entering the park.
After walking up, hide under your bed (look at bed and press A), after scene, grab key in bed side table (A), and pull up the inventory (Y), and highlight the key (you can move the curor using L/R on Dpad) and press A on the door.
