This is just a note to people playing this.
I first played this on Xbox Series X, and could not get this achievement to pop, no matter whether I bought the upgrade whilst inside a level or from the upgrade station on the main map screen.
I could ONLY get this to pop on an Xbox Series S, by buying it from the upgrade station on the main map.
This information is correct as of 14/07/2024.
The publisher has been alerted to this buggy achievement.

Thanks for the heads up. It didnt unlock when I tried to upgrade through the pause menu
