This one has bugged out on me, I expect I'll have to clear my save data to get in.

Edit: Turns out it isn't, it's just a nightmare trying to get her to die from the poison and not the fall. I baited her to the back of the room where the staircase down to the ground floor is, as it's not nearly as high a drop.

If you're having trouble with her dying from fall damage and have the "Shift" slab with the "Swapper" upgrade, you can jump into the gas and swap places with her. The staircase to the right of her office works well for this method rather than the main room.

I just used the method Lordacris commented here and I finally got the Achievement!!

The swapper method didn’t even work for me either :/

Kill Harriet. Get her gun (that shots poison gas). Infuse it. Go back and kill her again with her gun.

Nope nothing even with the gas gun

okay I’m done… I’ve now killed her each way about 5 times. It’s just not gonna pop for me hope it gets patched soon

I lured Harriet to one of the lower rooms where she initially is and kicked her through the railing, just make sure she dies from the poison and not from the kick or fall damage.

Best way is to use karnesis and shift. Swap places with her close to the gas and then use kinesis to push her into the gas either side of her stairwells. I used suspension and zone upgrades on karnesis. Worked first try this morn.

@Foxy Gray - try playing Deathloop via XCloud and see if that works. Getting reports using a "different" platform helps.

I've tried kicking her off the stairs many times but it may cause her death. Eventually I got this one by using her own gun's gas cloud to kill her.
Make sure to use her own gun where "FOUR" letters in purple are on her gun.
Headshot four times, then keep shooting on the ground near her, make sure not to shoot on her body or limbs.
After she's poisoned to death, the achievement will pop up.

I've tried different methods and multiple times. This is glitched for some. I hate devs

Bugged for me too. I kicked her over the ledge and she even started running and coughing until she died in the poison gas but still no achievement. Tried multiple ways and times but nothing.

Edit: Finally unlocked it by headshotting her with the poison gun she drops and then spamming the floor right next to her with bullets to keep her trapped in the window part (where the poison dispenser is).

Just wanted to come back and say i tried it on my Steam Deck via Xcloud did all 3 methods about 4-5 times each and … nothing not popping 🙃

Yup, just tried 2 or 3 times on xCloud using my computer. Didn't work. It's not this achievement only as I finished the game and the last 2 story achievements didn't pop as well.

Unreal i just got it, sorry to report i didn’t do anything special i just couldn’t stop beating my head against this. For anyone wondering i just kicked her over the fence into the gas for the 80th time and it just happened to work. I guess just keep trying, at least it’s a quick run!

Wtf?! It also unlocked for me. Just kicked her to the gas for the 15th time.

Man, that must suck, can't imagine the torture of doing it that many times.

This one definitely sucks. Swift Swap kills her every time for me, so I got rid of it. I planned on kicking her down, but when I locked her out of her room, she WALKED HERSELF INTO THE GAS. I heard coughing, looked down, and she's walking on the first floor. She died and no achievement. Ugh


After doing it 10 ish tries, I went with the fourpounder that does gas damage. It took a while and I almost ran out of ammo, but I killed her with the gas from it and it popped my achievement. Luckily there is an ammo vending machine in her area from the gas/crane control room.

Yeah this has been the most annoying one for me so far. Tried them all, stairs, gas gun, shift swap but she just randomly dies. I don't know If it's glitches as I kicked her down the stairs and she was coughing and died walking up them but still no pop.

Kicking her into the poison worked first time for me. Thanks a lot. Tried killing her with the poison pistol numerous times and it was just really tricky/not registering.

I've seen that people have been having issues with multiple achievements for this game, but thankfully I've not had any problems. Until now. Killed her multiple times with the gas, no achievement. Very frustrating.

Of course I get it straight away on the next try

Use the Karnesis Ability and Shift (to make getting to certain areas easier)

- Turn on One Shot Kills just to make it go by faster
-Don't worry about the people in the 2nd hangar (maybe the one guy who is up top across.
- Kill the 3 girls next to Harriet (1 top - 2 below)
-Disable 1 shot kills and auto aim if you have it
-Also go into settings in gameplay and set Karnesis to default to upwards
-Use your Karnesis ability on her, flinging her upwards
-Shoot her three times (I did not shoot her head)
-Use your Karnesis ability again do not let her shoot otherwise it will explode
-Just keep shooting below her and you will get it

-Key is to make sure she can't shoot

-Also I suggest people check my forum post for your NAT type regarding buggy achievements

I got her to run down to the bottom when the gas was off and ran up and turned it one to kill her in the gas and it still did not count. This is the first one giving me real fits.

Man I hope there is a patch soon.

As Gamer Lukash Sasha shared (in the other guide), using Harriet's gun to kill her, does unlock the achievement!

Harriet's gun is a variant of The Fourpounder, with the perk Toxic Haze, which makes the "bullets release toxic gas on impact".
It needs 8000 Residuum to infuse.

Simply said:
Kill Her > Grab her gun > Infuse the gun > Skip day > Shoot near her > ??? > Profit!

I got on top of the beams above the room and shot through the window where she can't see me and shoot the gas. She also got stuck on the locked door for some reason finally making it easy.

Fuzzmeister's tip is spot on. After numerous unsuccessful attempts I made it on my first try staying on top of the rafters so she couldn't see me.

Hardest achievement in the game.

For those of you who have gotten it - has it just been repeating and hoping that it will unlock? Did you meet the requirements and just keep trying? I have done it about 15 times down and keep trying and hoping.

Phew got it. I turned the game back online and kicked her into the mist and got it first try. Finally!

Absolutely ridiculous. I have kicked this hoe bag into the gas several times and she dies every time. Just no achievement. P.O.F.S.

I tried a few times on this as well, and like SallyNasty, once I turned it back to Online Mode, it popped first try.

Failed to unlock about 6 times with varying methods. Here's what ultimately worked for me:
-Online mode
-Use her gun "The Fourpounder"
-Clear room of enemies but don't open the two doors
-Stand in the highest ceiling platform and shoot down at the windowsill of her laser-protected locked room
She will just stand there coughing and won't shoot back since she doesn't have line of sight.

Tried Dyssident's suggestion and still no achievement.

It can't be me at this point, it's the game.

Great tip Dyssident. Got it first go. I was on single player mode as well. I’d tried the teleporting a few times but it didn’t work so I reloaded the game (was trying to get online as it wouldn’t connect before). Tried again in single player using your method and worked straight away.

Anyone else having issues with this?
I kicked her, teleported her, tried Dyssidents method and still no chevo. Tried it arround 30-40 times already

Try quitting and reloading the game then attempt the shooting from above method again?

Just one thing to add to using the toxic gun method. I couldn't get this to work unless I exploded the lasers on the window first by teleporting into them. Cos everytime I tried to kill her she exploded them herself and killed herself. Soon as I did this I got this first time.

Finally managed to get it with the toxic gun after a lot of patience and sidestepping to avoid her sights. Any other methods would kill her instantly by the fall (kick, karnesis, swap).

Another patch and still no achievements.

Swapped her into the stairwell filled with gas and she died, but I didn't get the achievement...

Had to kick her into the main gas room from the lower scaffolding for it to finally work (was trying to get her to walk into the 1 shotted gas tank gas, but it never killed her)

I would not use this method. It's overly finicky and potentially time consuming. Maka and the other solution below worked for me in using Karnesis to keep her from firing her gun and multiple rounds by her to keep her in the poison gas. Way simpler, killed her and got the achievement on the first attempt.

My god this ach is a piece of crap. Tried this and the shooting way and both were a PITA.

You can just shift through the lasers.

I tried kicking her into the gas 4 times in a row. Each time, she died to explosion or fall damage. On the 5th attempt, the game crashed so hard my system shut off. Think I'll try the Swapper method when I can instead.

I had an absolute nightmare getting this, i must have done it a dozen times with kicking her into the gas (and it was the gas that killed her and not the fall), swapping her in there and using the poison bullets. What eventually worked for me was a bit of a mixture, i cleared most of the enemies in the hangar undetected then alerted the last couple and went invisible. Harriet ran out looking for me and i snuck into her room and turned on the gas. She ran downstairs and the gas made her start coughing, though she ran back out and back to where i was waiting, i suspended her with Karnesis and shot poison bullets beneath her as in the other solutions. This killed her and popped the achievement for me, whether getting two sorts of poison helped or it was coincidence though, i couldn't say. Very glad it's done though, it was far more trouble than it should have been

This is either glitched for me or is just a bullshit achievement. I too have kicked her many times from out the room with the lasers and also at the bottom of the stairs into the lower gas and still no achievement. I only have this and 90 sec challenge left but that one also is extremely difficult. Any other tips would be appreciated

Maybe Harriet got patched up 'cause I did it exactly like the video and got the achievement on my first try. Or I got lucky :)

For me, kicking her down the not-stair side led to instant death by falling (or something) and no achievement. Kicking her down the stairs worked, though.

To anyone reading this, I think what is happening here is she is dying from the fall damage. No luck for me, either. I'm gonna try another way and get back...

Yeah, to update, after trying to kick her multiple times this way is no longer valid. You need to use her weapon with the poison gas NEAR her without shooting her point blank and damaging her. Using the poison Four Pounder shooting twice on the floor and then Karnesis with no upgrades to push her down. When she gets up two more shots near her, push her down with Karnesis and keep repeating until she's dead. It's the only way that worked for me after many attempts. You also don't want upgrades on the Karnesis slab bc if it's too powerful you'll fling her into something, and it will kill her accidentally. This one's a pain, folks, but doable.

Just want to add how I did it, as I wasn't able to get it as suggested here. I equipped the Shift slab (with the swapper upgrade), and the Steel Lungs trinket, lured Harriet out of her spot, went to the gas and used the Shift to swap places with her. Make sure to have one-shot kill activated as well.

The only way that worked for me was to lure her/kick her on the low platform at the bottom of the stairs because she kept dying from the fall damage if I kicked her off the one in the video.

If someone can do a video of other attempts as it’s confusing as to what it is people mean. I have definitely kicked her into the gas from the lower but it didn’t work for me.

pyromaniac00000, I stole her gun from her, came back another day and just shot the ground around her with her poison cloud bullets. Took a fair while before she died, but it worked.

this one seems bugged for me; really frustrating. I did it exactly as the video did and even saw her move around in the pool and then die to it.

Achievement just didn't unlock.

I gave up in the end.

Nope not happening for me either, have shot around with her gun till she dies, kicking her down stairs into gas, I even killed everyone else apart from her, opened the top door lead her out, closed door so she couldn't get in again then fired few shots so she went to very bottom, then turned on gas, still didn't work.

Lol typical, just popped, doing exactly as video for 3rd time, not sure why but seems to only count kicking her off high ledge into gas.

To be clear I’ve killed her about 20 times with the following methods…

1. Her poison cloud gun (hardest to pull off)
2. Kicking her over the railing (on both sides with one shot kills turned on and off just in case)
3. Swapping places with her in the gas (with iron lung trinket both on and off)
4. Luring her downstairs and trapping her then switching the gas on in her control room (thought forsure this would work)

So I’ll try anything at this point

I tried the method where you shove her over the railing on the top floor, and the method in the staircase but she always died of the fall. I almost gave up after about 10 tries, but then I remembered that the staircase on the left is not broken, so she doesn't fall as deep as in the other stairwell.

I equipped the violet Steel Lungs Trinket so I could stand in the gas and the orange Freeloader trinket so I don't do much damage when I kick her into the gas. And obviously Spring-Heeled so I could reach her. I went through the tunnel and only killed the 3 guards in her backroom. Then turned on the gas. When she startet looking for me I shot once near her waited until she spotted me and ran down the stairs into the gas. She followed me to the top of the stairs so I ran back up and kicked her down. She got up 3 times and i kicked her back down and then she gasped her last breath and spat out the achievement on my first try.

Clear her guards and then use Harriet’s Fourpounder and shoot her 4 times (try to do one or two headshots) and after that simply start shooting at the base of the “entrance” into her airplane cockpit.

I've kicked her into the gas and watched her die trying to stand up, so she didn't die from the fall and I've tried this method but this just isn't unlocking for me. Given all of the other problem achievements I have, I can't tell if I'm not pulling this off somehow or if it's just glitched.

EDIT: So I managed to Shift swap her into the gas instead of kicking her over the railing and I watched as she tried running to a staircase, coughing the whole time, before she collapsed dead. There's no way she didn't die from the poison that time, so this is one more for my glitched list.

I’ll try that, but since the gas canisters didn’t work I have my doubts that will. If it does I will kiss you lol. Cuz I’ve tried a good dozen times since, with max stress, minimum stress, with the reduced damage trinket, any combination and it’s just physically impossible to get her down into the pit to die by the gas down there without her dying from stubbing her feckin toe! And she wont chase you down the staircase on the other side so even that’s a bust >.> this is my last hope, and ima try it, but I don’t have high hopes.

Exit: just tried it, didn’t work. I just have to assume it’s bugged for some people for some unknown reason.

I’m doubting this is even an achievement, or if it is it’s bugged to hell and back! I kicked her into the gas, she died after a couple seconds, no achievement. Did it again in a different spot, same thing, no achievement. I literally did the swapper thing, she died INSTANTLY and no achievement. Swapper doesn’t do damage, and I was on flat ground when I did it, so the ONLY thing that could have killed her was the gas, and no achievement popped up. Turns out, no. I did it again with the gas off, she literally died to the swapper itself!!!! This is simply ridiculous at this point! She has such ridiculously low health that this should not be an achievement, if she dies from something that doesn’t even do damage how the hell are you supposed to get her into the gas without her frail body just imploding??

Edit: I just managed to kill her with gas from the canisters in the upper part of her room, that doesn’t count apparently. I specifically HAS to be the gas on the bottom floor only. Cuz this wasn't enough of a b**** to get..or it’s just bugged. Could be bugged.

I wanted to reinforce the idea that Karnesis with Suspension (and no other upgrade) got this for me as well. I do think there is a bug with this achievement as the conditions seem to be far to stringent and (anecdotally) any Cole-based damage negates it.

I found a setup which I could ensure she got into and stayed in the gas which popped the achievement. This also makes it safe so she doesn't shoot the gas trying to fight you.

1. Get on top of Hanger 2 and open the door with the button you can shoot through the crack in the ceiling panel
2. Clear Hanger 2 (see note) except for Harriet, trying everything not to hit her at all since that seemed to
3. Get on the catwalk in front of the door you opened on the top floor, hide behind the sheet metal cover so Harriet cant shoot you from her office (with the tripmines)
4. Aggro Harriet, let her turn on the gas
5. Wait for her to pop her head out from the door to shoot you
6. Karnesis! No gunplay or kicks
7. If done correctly, the Karnesis will knock her backwards just enough to suspend her over the square hole around the staircase. When Suspend ends, she should fall into it, down into the gas, scream about having a fall, and then die to the gas. This got me the achievement.

If Karnesis doesn't put her over the pit, she'll just re-aggro you can try again when she pops her head out.

Note: This was way easier to do with Single Player mode + 1-shot kills to make the setup faster, especially since its SO easy to screw up and I had to reset a bunch of times just getting the setup.

Tried multiple ways but got it this way easy. Make sure you have the gun that deals gas damage and also aether with the upgrade ghost.
Get to the hangar, I ran and killed everything that followed me near the door to the 2nd hangar.
Kill all the enemies in the hangar surrounding her till she’s the only one left.
As a precaution I blew up the 2 gas canisters on the other side so she wouldn’t kill me.
Hide behind the middle sheet and grab her attention till she comes into the room with the lasers on the window.
Enable Arther and move slightly left or right till you can see her. Eventually she will lose interest and turn around to leave. Shoot her or in front while ghosted. Then move behind cover and recharge your power.
Just repeat enabling ghost and moving out slightly and shooting when she loses interest.
As she never sees you she never shoots and therefore doesn’t ignite the cloud

Thank you so much for this, I had tried kicking her into the gas so many times with no luck. I cornered her in the back but the same principle of shooting at her feet until she died got me the unlock.
