How to unlock the Extracurricular Activities achievement in DeathSpank - Definitive Guide
Most of the quests are straight forward obvious. For the few that aren't if you can't figure them out, you can use one of your fortune cookies to get a hint. Just go to your quest log and highlight the quest, and at the bottom center of the screen will be the word locked. Press X to use a fortune cookie and get a hint. You can tab over to other hints (most have three) if you need more help.
To unlock this achievement, simply complete 50 of these. Be sure to do the quests given by the Talking Tree at the Enchanted Forest. The tree gives out four to five quests that require no further action but walking along a path, picking up redundant items and turning them in.
Once you turn in your 50th sidequest, this achievement will unlock. You can monitor your progress via the quest statistics by press RB, then RB again. Select the blue book that's always second on the left of the top row, and press X to "use" to view all your current stats.
While traveling through the game, you'll encounter people who will give you quests to do. Some will have only one while others will have multiples so keep talking to them after you finish a quest for them in order to make sure they don't have any others. Once you finish your 50th side quest, the trophy will pop. These are the quests that are listed under "Unimportant Things I Need To Do" in your Quest Log. You can see how many you've done by using the Book O'Stats'N'Stuff in your inventory.
Another achievement you will achieve as you progress in the game. Before the Orphan quest, you receive little main quests, so the side quests which are known as 'Unimportant Things I Need To Do' will be your main stay for most of the beginning. Although these quests aren't required, they're recommended since you'll get a lot of experience if you do them, and you'll need the experience to reach level 20.
The main thing you should remember though, is that you have to turn them in to completely finish a quest. Any quests that need to be turned in will be highlighted green in your Quest Log.
