How to unlock the Take Back The Knight achievement in DeathSpank - Definitive Guide

Be aware that turning off your game after getting the prongenator 3000 may make it disappear from your inventory. This happened to me, and there is no known fix for this. Without the weapon you cannot get this achievement. I highly suggest going straight for Lord Von Prong when you get this weapon, even if you're a few levels short of level 20. Like LV 1 Blue Slime's solution says, go for Von Prong's healers before attempting to take him out. If you're having trouble taking him out still, remember to use any orbs of invincibility you may have since he doesn't move around very much.

If you somehow misplace or lost the Prongenator 3000, check the lost & found at Pluckmuckel.

I tried that when it disappeared from my inventory, but it was not there. Hopefully there has been an update to fix this since my original solution. But thanks anyway for the added suggestion.

This achievement is for killing the final boss. After you finish the quest with Eubrick to get the progenator 3000 go back to Lord Von Prong's castle and enter the gate, then walk up to him and talk to him. Kill his little healer dudes, and then smack him with the Progenator until he dies. That's all there is to it.

It may help to use the orphan whistle and undead summoning orbs. Or for kicks.

Lord Von Prong is the last boss you'll face before a dramatic conclusion and a hint at a possible sequel. He is located in the heart of Castle Von Prong which in this world rests in the top northeast part of this strange and exotic world. You'll definitely know who he since he has a massive head of hair and an extremely small donkey he rides on.

Probably a good idea to have a good supply of potions on hand before starting the fight. Kill his minions first. They can regenerate his health. He has a stun attack that can lasts long enough for him to kill you. It is entirely avoidable. You will notice him start to sing before pounding the ground causing his area of effect stun. When he starts to sing that particular tune, get out of range. As soon as he's done pounding the ground you can go right back in while you still see the musical notes swirling and start hitting him again. The only weapon that does any damage to him is the Prongenator 3000 you got from Eubrick. Don't waste your time with anything else. Just keep beating him with it until he's dead making sure you avoid getting stunned. If you die, you have to start the whole fight all over again.

This is a story-based trophy and you won't be able to miss it. First you will need to collect a sword that can defeat the villain. Yubrik can make a sword if you bring him the following materials:

- 3x3 Green Plain Felt
- Demonic Ore
- Lord Von Prong's Hair

Run to the orcs' lair, where you defeated Sergeant Orc, a huge dragon will appear there (in general, dragon poop with Fren's notes inside should lead you there). Kill the dragon and talk to Fren. Ask him for 3x3 Green Plain Felt , he will push and sell you all sorts of bullshit for a long time, say: no, I need 3x3 Green Plain Felt until the very end, until he gives it to you. After that, visit any demonic cave and dig up 10 Demonic Ore there (to do this you need to equip a pickaxe as a weapon). Then go to the city of Orcs (northeast of the map), for Prong's hair. You need to steal his wig from the museum in the upper part of the city, but the wig is guarded by two orcs. Talk to them, then exit the museum and talk to the orc standing next to the hourglass. He will say that at a certain time he calls all the orcs for lunch and there is one composition that is so terrible that his watch cannot stand the sound of it. Run back to the museum and play the records on the player until you hear the sound of broken glass. Leave the museum and talk to the watchmaker again. He will ask you what time it is, you need to say lunch time (for me it was Pi o'clock ). He will ring the bell and the orcs will run off to dinner, leaving the wig to be torn to pieces by you. Grab Lord Von Prong's Hair and return to Yubrik to make the sword. After the sword is created, teleport to the very last restroom. The boss himself is not very difficult, first of all, kill his three assistants, then take on Prong. Don't forget that you must have the sword you collected equipped. Move away from him when he's about to sing to avoid being stunned and spam him to death with your super sword.

After defeating the boss, you can continue the game to complete the remaining tasks and trophies.
