Agreed, this achievement is very janky as the barrels launch you everywhere and are VERY hard to stay on. My method was to pile a whole bunch of them into a corner, then jump on the pile. Even doing this it took me several tries.

Im not sure if the barrels are intentionally as glitchy as they are or if the devs just haven't gotten around to fixing them because theyve been as touchy as they are since they were put in the game during early access.
