I found the easiest/quickest way to get this achievement was by grinding 'Point Extraction' missions as the Scout. Find available missions on the map, select solo, and hazard 1 (if you want to have as easy a time as possible) and go through 100 missions.
Your mission will be to find and deposit aquarqs, which are easily indicated by blue glowing rocks in the walls/floors/ceilings. Mine them out, carry the aquarq to your mining station to deposit, call the drop pod once you have enough and finish the mission by getting to it.

- If you over-estimate your grapples and end up getting yourself downed (every Scout has experienced this) it's not game over as Bosco can revive you!
