Hello fellow dwarfs!
If you are looking for the creature "Silicate Harvester", according to https://deeprockgalactic.gamepedia.com/Silicate_Harvester
... you should best look in those regions: Dense Biozone, Fungus Bogs or Radioactive Exclusion Zone. You can access those regions over the mission terminal in the space rig. The Silicate Harvester does appear in every type of mission, I personaly didnt find any in the mining type... The Wiki doesn't give us any appearance chance. The creature is big, moving around slowly, so you can't miss it!
Also: the creature climbs up and down the walls... so watch out for that and eventual trees or rocks on the way. Unlocks directly after the 30 secs.

Let it be known, the achievement does not pop until after you get back off the silicate harvester. I rode that thing for about 3 minutes waiting for the achievement to pop. Got it the second I got off.
