Deep Sky Derelicts

This doesn't apply to everyone. There are a lot of walkthroughs for this trophy pointing out how simple this one is. I ran into issues. Maybe this is a PS4 only issue, a random issue, who knows.

The missions tracker (2/3, 4/5, 3/4, etc) was buggy for me and might be for you too. Things didn't add up and some missions supposedly being tracked, really were never there. Had to restart at least 4 times during Tier 2 until I came up with a work around that saved me hours of needlessly restarting the game from scratch. Even with the work around, Tier 2 and 3 did have some bugs, but the time lost was minimized.

Here's what I did:

Initial derelicts:

1. Collect and turn in spheres and complete missions for one derelict at a time
2a. If the numbers add up, move to the next derelict
2b. If the numbers do not add up, restart the game, go back to 1.
3. Once all the derelicts are cleared, make a save to USB (I needed to use my cloud saves as I went along through the game)
4. Then, and only then, pick the Sub-Governors topic, "Any news regarding the data?"

Number 4, picking the Sub-Governors topic, "Any news regarding the data?" generates the next tier of derelicts. They and their missions are randomly generated by that topic. Maybe mission tracking on one will be bugged. But we don't know until we get to clearing them out. If one is bugged, that save can can be reloaded and that topic selected again to generate a completely new set of derelicts and some variation in missions.

so on to Tier 2

1. Collect and turn in spheres and complete missions for one derelict at a time
2a. If the numbers add up, move to the next derelict
2b. If the numbers do not add up, reload the USB save and speak to the Sub-Governor again on the topic. Go back to 1.
3. Once all the derelicts are cleared, make a save to USB
4. Then, and only then, pick the Sub-Governors topic, "Any news regarding the data?"

For Tier 3

1. Collect and turn in spheres and complete missions for one derelict at a time
2a. If the numbers add up, move to the next derelict
2b. If the numbers do not add up, reload the USB save and speak to the Sub-Governor again on the topic. Go back to 1.
3. Once all the derelicts are cleared the trophy will pop as you complete the final mission on the final derelict

There is no Tier 4
