How to unlock the BMF achievement in DEF JAM ICON - Definitive Guide
There's really no good tips for doing this. You have to do EVERY fight on hard in ONE basic playthrough (i don't mean sit there for hours on end one playthrough, you can do some fights, quit then come back and your progression will be saved. but you cant do any of the fights on normal or easy) a good strategy ive found is to evade alot. directional attacks are good too. also, abuse the environmental hazards. your opponent can put you in the "death state" A LOT qucker then you can get them in it, so be aware of that. also, learning to block where you grab them JUST as they attack so you grab them is also good. blocking and evading are important when playin on hard, because the AI is pretty beast.

Key for me was black panther fighting style. With directional attacks you can hit them fast. And often you can throw them into hazards right after that. Throwing into hazards is the way to go. Black panther has also good grab breaks in my opinion. I had problems with one of the last fights. Depending on your artists you might have to fight as Method Man against E-40. This took me ages. You cant choose the fighting style. And playing AGAINST black panther is horrible. I always blocked one attack and tried to grab him asap. Sometimes you are lucky and get a reversal.

Probably the hardest achievement in the game. You must beat the entire story on Hard without ever changing the difficulty. Before starting Build a Label, make sure you go to options from the main menu, and change the difficulty via game options.
DJ Scratching is the key to making it through this mode in one piece, so always use it! Figure out ways to keep your opponent still enough to grab, and always get them into the hazards. They deal more damage than any of your attacks, and will bring someone down fairly quickly if you focus on it. While either of the of the starting styles will work, it's recommended that you start with Street Kwon Do, as you grab faster than other styles.
