How to unlock the Directional Attacks Only achievement in DEF JAM ICON - Definitive Guide

I figured out the easiest method: create a player like he says above.and choose to play ti. except choose The Penthouse. As soon as the match starts move your character to the left side of the room in the corner by the fireplace. Now when your attacker comes do spinning kicks to the left and right depending on where your opponent is. You will end up getting to hit him 2 or 3 times until he falls down. try to use your kicks to knock him towards the fireplace when its shooting its flame. keep doing the same thing. if he throws to the other side, work your way back to that same corner and repeat the same technique. After struggling with this for a few hours, i beat it my 4th time with the above method. I ended up knocking him into the flame 2 times besides my barrage of kicks to his face.

This achievement is pretty tough but the easiest way to do it is to create a player and give him the ghetto tae kwan do style. Once the player has been created go to game modes and select bass: solo. That specific style of fighting is weak against T.I. As your character then choose T.I and go against the created player. Very important use the stage that is Troys Office since it is spacious and the hazards wont affect you that much. During the fight keep using the directional attacks only. Use the directional attacks repeatedly, one after another like a combination and your opponent will not be able to defend himself. Keep using the attacks continuesly until he falls then when he gets back up hit him again. Rinse and repeat.

This one is exactly like "Reversals Only", except instead of reversing attacks, you can only use directional attacks. To use a directional attack, spin in a circle. Avoid starting from the top though, as you will sometimes try to grab instead of attack, which voids the achievement. It's a huge pain to do this, though, as you cannot finish off your opponent with your attack, because only the environment will finish your opponent off.

Choose whoever you want for this achievement, as there are no best characters to use for it. Use the Executive Suite as your area, and Sitting Sidewayz as your theme if you want the bass to be constant. Focus on trying to get your opponent into the speakers in the back, which is easier said than done. Depending on which way you spin the , your attack will go in a different direction. Where your attack goes, it will send someone in that direction. These change depending on the camera angle, and which side you're on, so try and figure it out as you go.
