How to unlock the Annihilator achievement in Defense Grid 2 - Definitive Guide

As you play each level you are attacked by aliens. Each alien you kill with your towers or special weapon count toward this achievement. Now, if you play the game youll get this naturally as time goes on. If you wish to boost than start level 1, which has i believe 350 aliens(-/+), beat it, and repeat 28-29 more times. Achievement will pop as you enter the stats page.

level 2 has about 400 aliens and level 3 has about 500. no matter how you split it youll have to grind this achievement if you dont actually play the games campaign. I suggest levels 1-4 as they are the easiest and move quickly

Fastest way to grind this would be using the "Super Grinder challenge" or "Grinder challenge" and set the difficulty to Easy.

I got about 1000 alien kills in "Super Grinder challenge" - did not bother to upgrade any towers, died in about level 75 out of 100. Had the game on "RB" fast mode most of the time. Had about 60K credits when died, so could of upgraded many towers and get further (and more kills).

If you didn't get this by the end of the story mode, you can combine it with other trophies like Full Defense, Gun Crazy, and Siege Breaker.

To unlock this trophy just load up Mission 14. Just make sure that you only use Gun Tower to unlock also the Gun Crazy trophy. If you did not yet unlock that trophy.

Simply kill 10,000 aliens to obtain this trophy. This trophy is technically unmissable as you’ll be killing a lot more aliens than the required number over the course of the game, so there’s no need to grind for kills.

You will unlock this after killing 10,000 aliens. This will unlock naturally as you play the game. Depending on the exact approach you take and how many times you rewind or replay missions, this should unlock before you have completed the first Story mode playthrough.
